Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Amen. Father, thank You for this faithful sister on the other side of the world. We will all see each other in glory.

Thank You, Father, that You meet our needs and maybe a few wants. Yet, we want too much. There are so many suffering. Help us to share what we have with those who have less. I was touched by Carla mentioning she was looking for someone to share her air conditioned home with. I do thank You for this new modern invention called air conditioning. Yet, we still complain of the heat. They are predicting 110 next week here. Father, it is hot and we ask that You help us through this next week.

I pray for all those suffering today. I pray for Steve's memorial service and funeral. I ask that You bless the pastor at that Missionary Baptist Church and help him to have the right words to say. You can give comfort to Steve's family. I pray that they will be comforted by Your love.

Be with those that are mourning in Aurora, CO. They have had it rough there in Colorado this year.

Forgive our selfishness, envy and pride. Keep us humble before You. You are a gracious God. Your gift of salvation is glorious. We are thankful. You have saved us from our sins. Help us to live the life You have called us unto. Help us to be submissive to those over us.Bless our nation and those who govern. Reveal Yourself to them.

In Jesus name.

Dear Father,

There is so much tragedy and pain in our world today, but Father, I know that in everything, Your name is glorified.  Thank You Father for sustaining our faith and endurance of the pains we go through.  Help us not to give up but to be a light to those who do not yet know You.

I offer to You this day, all our fears, our pains, our disappointments, our struggles and our efforts.  Lord keep us in line with Your Word so that we do not falter.  In You we put our trust, believing that whatever we are going through right now is a face in the process of our growth.

Father, I come to Your throne of grace this beautiful day, asking for forgiveness for our sins and the sins of the whole world.  Cleanse us and change our hearts of stone to hearts of flesh so that our love for one another may bring peace to all mankind.  Love, Oh Lord is what the world lacks these days.  We are full of selfishness and greed, help us to think more of others than ourselves.  Strengthen us in our faith to enable us to endure the pains and sorrows of this world.  Although we have another world in view, we still have to live here till our time here elapses.  Help us to live lives that  merit the new world.

I lift up the grieving families of Steve and Amanda to Your throne of grace.  May they find comfort in Your love and may Steve's soul rest in perfect peace with You.

I also pray for healing for Dan and deliverance for Ken and Hubert.  You are faithful Lord, and You never fail, for Your promise to save us in times of trouble still holds.  Rescue us in our times of need and we'll give You glory.  I make this prayer in the MNJ. Amen

Amanda,

He was too young. Death is not the end but the beginning. It is tough for us left behind but our hope is in the Lord. We believe in the resurrection of the dead as our Lord is risen and promises that we will be as well. I am very sorry that you and your husband have gone through this. Let God be glorified through it all. May He receive glory and honor and may Steven's family be comforted. I am so sorry.

I also pray for the families lost in the shooting this morning. Your tribute is very fitting. May the Lord's blessing rest on you mightily. In Jesus name.

Anyone here about the shooting at the Batman movie?

Pray the Lord forgives him and saves him and the families need prayers. Especially, for their loved ones who passed away.

Father,

We pray for the families in Colorado that have lost loved ones through another senseless shooting by some crazed individual. Father, be with these families as they mourn their ones they have lost. In Jesus name.

Amen. Father, I stand in agreement for prayer for repentance. We have drifted from You and need to return. Though our sins are as scarlet, You will make us white as snow. Though they are crimson, You will make them as wool. Thank You for the promise of Your Word. We do not assume to know except by Your Word. Your word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Keep us in Your path.

Be with Steve's family today as well as Amanda's husband as he sorts all of this out. Let him be a strong witness of You in this.

Thank You for the beautiful love note from David to You. Thank You for all the saints on this site. Thank You for creating this site.

Cleanse us from every evil thought. Bless the girl's home that may be coming our way. Bless the young man from Africa that I met last evening. Anoint him to preach Your Word.

We continue to pray for Dan's healing. Father, keep Elaine strong.

Thank You for the prayers of your saints. In Jesus name.

Loving Heavenly Father, Creator of all that is seen and unseen, we love, worship, and adore You. Our world is spiraling out of control. Chaos, fear, greed, and guns permeate our daily news. Marriages are falling apart; pain and susffering abound. No one...not even the most interlectual human is able to remedy the situation. Father, the heart of man desperately needs a spiritual revival. We need the Holy Spirit! Your Word tells us how to obtain relief: "If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

My prayer this morning, Lord, is for the Holy Spirit to touch  the heart of mankind worldwide; so that the need for Jesus becomes urgent...for He is our source and only hope. Thank You, Father. In Jesus precious name I pray, Amen.

Father I thank You that everyone that is in Christ Jesus is unstoppable by the enemy. Thank You Lord that we are not destroyed in Jesus Christ. Lord this morning I claiam what is rightfully ours as Your obeying children because everything belong to You our father, to You Lord be all the glory, honor and power forever. Amen.

Dear Lord,

I thank You for Your grace and mercy.  Thank You for Your love for us . Although we may not understand Your ways, we know that all that You allow in our lives may be for a purpose.  Your will might not be what we desire, but we trust that Your plans for us are for our own good.  I place Steve's family into Your comforting arm. Lord, comfort them and give them strength to mourn their loved one.  Give them the assurance that all is well and that Steve is safe with You.  Father, in times like this, faith in You gets shaken and many who haven't yet known You, turn to be filled with doubt about You existence.  Father I pray that this tragic incident brings this Family to Your throne of grace.  Show Your presence in their time of sorrow and help them to accept, though it is not easy, that You have Your plans for all Your children.

Father I cover all Steve's colleagues and family in the precious Blood of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  Give them all strength to overcome their fears and pain, deliver them from all anxiety.  Give Amanda's husband the wisdom to deal with this situation according to Your will.  I pray in the MNJ. Amen!
