Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Father,

I ask forgiveness for all my weakness and sin. We have failed in so many ways. I pray that we will turn around and once again seek You as our God and honor You as the One we need more than anything. We want to relegate You to a position of being there in our tragedies but putting You on a shelf when things are good. Help us to realize how much we need You every day.

Our leaders are now saying that we need to pray but all of that will go away shortly. Help us to have a real revival where we will do the things necessary to have a heart change. Will we put away those tools of evil that bring about such damage? We will talk about guns but not mention the real evil behind our nation.

But today, I am sorry for my own sins and pray that You will give me strength to do those things I know need to be done. I pray You will be with those who are suffering so much grief right now. Father, I wish they did not have to suffer. I wish I could help. I ask You because I know You are the only One that can help. I ask for Your comfort. I see some that know You and how they are comforted and helped. May all see that. In Jesus name.

Father, I glorify Your Holy Name this day for You are Lord of lords and King of kings.  Your ways surpass all ways and Your mercy endures for ever.  Dear Lord, let all prayers made to You this day be  perfect offerings to Your glory.

I come to Your throne of grace in the mist of all chaos and confusion, seeking clarity for all that is going on around me.  Sometimes, I fail to understand things that happen around me; the pain, the hurting, terrible diseases and all the hatred that surround us.  Father, I know that Your plans for us are for the good and not for evil, please look with pity upon us and give us Your saving help.  Help me to mortify my flesh and live according to Your will in Jesus' Mighty Name.

I lift up all who are suffering and in the agony of pain to You so that You strecth Your healing hands on all  of them and heal them.  May Your Name be praised for ever.  Bless all my brothers and sisters here on AAG with good health and prosperity, fresh understanding of Your word and with the grace of forgiveness.

Thank You Lord for mercies past received and for all answered prayers.  Amen

Dear AAG Family!

Below are 12 verses of Psalm 37. I hope they bring some comfort.

1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
13 The LORD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

Father, on this day we worship You. We worship You for all those from every part of this earth are there with You this day that were not there yesterday. We worship You for the salvation of our souls and the souls of all those we love. We worship You for Your almighty plan. We worship You for giving Your Son. We worship You this Christmas season.

Father, we pray for all those who have suffered great loss in this world. We all pray for those in Connecticut. In Jesus name.

"Almighty Heavenly Father, our world is once again shattered by the senseless, selfish shooting which occurred yesterday at a primary school in Connecticut, killing 27 people, 20 of which were innocent 5-10 year-old children. Our hearts are in mourning!

Father, there is no one here on earth who can stop this madness from ever happening again. Instead of allowing Your Word to be taught in schools an universities, the world has chosen to remove You completely. Don't they realize that this is another ploy of the devil to destroy mankind? Don't they realize that without You at the helm, we will perish at the hands of the devil? This must change, Father. The need to reverence You must be paramount in the minds of those who have wilfully excluded You from the public arena.

Precious Messiah Jesus, I'm so sorry...sorry because You gave Your precious sinless life to redeem mankind from their sins in order to offer them the blessed hope of life eternal with You. But, alas! The devil has once again blocked ears, blinded eyes, and seared hearts to the truth of Your Holy Word. We need You, Gentle Jesus! We desperately need You to cure this world, and so repair the seared hearts and minds of those who have been led astray by the evil one. Help us please, Lord Jesus.

In the meantime, Lord, please comfort the families of yesterday's carnage. Settle in their hearts that their children are with You. Though to grieve they must, please let them know that the pain of loss will soon be replaced with memories of love and a knowing that in the midst of their sorrow, all have the blessed hope of uniting with their beloved children in heaven. Of equal importance, though difficult, Lord, the need for forgiveness towards the misguided, confused, and perhaps demented gunman is a requirement for  peace and healing of the inner self.

Father, thanking You for allowing me to place my heartfelt petition at Your feet. In the precious and holy name of Messiah Jesus, Amen."

Father, I adore You and lift up my eyes to see Your face shine on us this day.  I am ever so grateful for Your amazing grace.  Let this grace touch all those involved in this tragic event.  Let Your light shine upon the this day with fresh hope and faith that You Lord are in control.

Thank You Lord, for Your protection and Your love.  Make this day a better one for all of us who trust in You.  May the Spirit of the Christ child always reign in our hearts this day and for ever. I pray in the MNJ. Amen.

THANK YOU LORD FOR ALL ANSWERED PRAYERS

Dear Father, Your children are crying, for the evil one has infiltrated schools and taken lives of  innocent people.  Where do we run to, but to You Lord.  Send Your Holy Spirit to come and take control because this world has been turned upside down.  Lord I pray for the parents who may have lost their little ones, that Father, comfort them and hold them in You warm embrace.  Father touch their hearts and heal them of all pains, in MNJ, I pray, Amen!
