Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Thanks heaps, Roy, Robby, Elaine, LT, for taking time to respond to this "troubling" matter. Your feedback is most valuable. Being mindful of God's truth is so important as we travel through this journey called life, with our focus on Messiah Jesus...His birth, death, and resurrection.

Abundant blessings to each of you, and that also includes the AAG Team, this day and always.

Roy, a safe journey back home. Take your time driving.

Wow! I just got back from my sons' church  annual Christmas Eve service. What a blessed time. My younger son is the worship pastor and my older son is the senior pastor. The church's name is New Hope Wesleyan Church. Their auditorium holds 1150 people but there were people standing. The balcony was full and the floor level was full. The actual count was 1117 but it seemed to be more than that. I am so blessed by their service in the Lord's Kingdom. Mike sang wonderfully and Billy preached a solid Gospel message. I have another son here in Wyoming as well and he has a very successful job with the railroad. Now, I have to say goodbye and travel back to Kansas tomorrow if this snow lets up. I ask for your prayers.

My wife and I are blessed beyond measure. I am grateful to my Lord very, very much. I am so grateful for a wife that saw the need for Jesus being first in the lives of our children. I pray for all our families. Satan desires to destroy our families. I pray our Lord will protect our children from harm and destruction. In Jesus name.

Christmas is really pretty simple for me. I celebrate the birth of my Savior and am not interested in what others may or may not have celebrated or how they may or may not have celebrated. For the child of God it is all about Jesus and our love for one another!!!

Lord Bless,

Lena,

Please do not be alarmed by someone telling us that we are celebrating pagan gods by celebrating Christmas on Dec. 25. Whether or not the Romans had chosen Dec. 25 as the day to celebrate the sun god is up for debate. It just could be that the date was chosen first for Christ and then copied by the Romans but it really doesn't matter. It has become known as the day of Christmas when the birth of Christ is celebrated. I don't hear about anyone celebrating a Syrian or Roman god. If the Romans did have this day, we took it over.

I agree with Robby. I did not listen to the video but I listened enough to know his purpose is to sell and build up his organization but capturing those vulnerable to his alarmists ways. I'm not against ministers selling their books but I do sometimes question the motives. We do not know the day of the birth of Christ. However, we do know that He was born. Please feel comfortable about celebrating Christmas with your family. You are not insulting our Lord by doing so. However, we must always remember that it is more about Him than about the day since we do probably have the day wrong. We do not have Him wrong though. He is the reason I celebrate. I also celebrate His resurrection regardless of the pagan implications of Easter. I am not going to allow ruin these days for me.

God bless you. I am praying that God will bring us all closer to Him and to each other. In Jesus name.

I viewed that documentary on the TV a couple of nights ago. I recall that there were some other non pagan feast days associated with the same time period. Nevertheless, I am reminded of one of the first things successful missionaries do. They learn the language. It really doesn't matter what the origin of our Christmas celebration is, look at the result! The whole world celebrates Christmas. Our job is to bring the Good News and bring meaning to Christmas for those who haven't heard.

Char, don't let other people's actions take control of your happiness. I have been cut off from my new wife's family but I just give it up to God. Give it to Him and know we have the AAG family to lift us up.

Merry Christmas

Blessings Marty...sorry about that link. Here's a more direct one. If it doesn't work by clicking on it, then copy and paste it into your url...it should then link directly to the video.

"Loving Heavenly, praise and glory to Your Holy Name. Whenever my heart is in turmoil over an issue, Father, You supernaturally allow my day to be interrupted. and then You prod me to switch channels on the TV.

Yesterday was a fine example of this, Lord. You knew I was troubled over the truth surrounding Christians and Christmas. Hubby and I were unable to attend church and other activities because of issues with his back, which he could not explain. Instead, Father, You prompted me to switch channels on the TV. Low and behold, a Christian program was in progress titled Regifting. I was horrified at what I learned. By the end of the program, Father, I wanted to know what to do with the information I had just learned. I asked for guidance, Christians needed to know. With timidity, I phoned my friend Alina and told her I had something to share...then I asked her not to put my head on the chopping block. To my surprise, Father, she was receptive. And now, Father, I feel compelled to share this information with my brothers and sisters on AAG. Truth is Truth, and it needs to be told. Thank You, humbly, Father, for hearing the cry of my heart to know Your truth. I pray that the hearts of my brothers and sisters will be equally moved. In the precious name of Messiah Jesus, Amen."

Beloved AAG Sisters and Brothers, below is the link to the program I was guided to find on TV yesterday, and which I strongly feel should be shared because I love each of you dearly. As we journey through this life, God keeps revealing His truth to listening ears and open hearts. Hallelujah!

Good essay Roy.

I came across a prayer website that seemed to try to obscure their "intentional" beliefs.  Not God centered or biblical at all.

I wanted  to wash my computer!
