Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Father,

Bless my brother John as he begins his retirement. Help him to find a new purpose and energy to spread Your Word. In Jesus name.

Father,

Have we traded Your Word for a man-made word? Have we changed the Gospel? Have we been brainwashed to the point that we accept a naturalistic approach to origins rather than a Scriptural one. Forgive us. We are losing millions to confusion. Confusion introduces doubt and doubt is a direct blockade to faith. We believe Your Word because we believe in You. We believe You are more than able to do everything exactly the way You say that You did it. A physicist might tell us that Your explanation of Creation is physically impossible but so is a dead man rising from the dead. We know You are more than capable to raise a dead man back to life. We are preparing to celebrate our Savior's resurrection. We believe that what was physically impossible, actually happened. We believe Jesus was dead but that He rose from the dead. We believe that He was born of the virgin Mary. We believe that He lived a sinless life (another physical impossibility) and died  as a sacrifice for all our sins. We are humbled and blessed by the blessed Gospel we are given in Your entire Word. We believe in Your  Word and we this day pledge our continued faith in spite of the tremendous attacks by a secularist world. Help those of Your true church stand against these attacks. Help them to never compromise concerning all Your Word.

Bless Your people this day. Keep them safe and bring us all safely to our heavenly home. Reveal Your great love to each one. In Jesus name.

LETTING GO

[Author: Anonymous]

As children bring their broken toys

With tears for us to mend,

I brought my broken dreams to God

Because He was my friend.

But then instead of leaving Him in peace to work alone

I hung around and tried to help

With ways that were my own.

At last I snatched them back and cried

"How could You be so slow?'

"My child," He said, "what could I do?

You never did let go."

"O Father, Redeemer, Saviour, and Friend, there are times when I am guilty of this very thing! I'm soooooo sorry! Please forgive me for not trusting You enough to really let go when I bring my 'broken toys and dreams', so that You could work on them alone.

I now, this morn, bravely declare that I'll let go for sure, knowing with confidence, my best is what You have in mind. You are, after all, Abba---affectionately called Papa. Yes, You love me unconditionally, and that's just simply that.

Papa, one more thing I also release to You---the  'broken toys and dreams' which belong to my brothers and sisters here at AAG, and to those for for whom they pray:  Dan, Elaine's son, Jimmy, Jayaseelan, Ray, Gregory, Meritza and her husband, along with all the others whose names You already know.

Papa, no more tears will I shed when You seem slow to respond; for I truly believe Your best with be our best when we cast our cares to You. Our love for You is deep and strong; Yours even deeper and stronger for us. Hallelujah!

Thanks for Your grace and mercy, Father. In the precious name of Yeshua, I pray. Amen."

Dear Father, thank You for Your Love and care for us.  You are full of mercy and compassion and You know our needs before we voice them out. Lord You promised that whatever we shall ask in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we shall receive, therefore in Your Name I ask for a breakthrough in the life of Jayaseelan.  Father, You are the only One who can make his needs fulfilled.  Provide Jaya with a means to take care of himself and his family.  Renew his strength in doing what You have planned for him.

Father, today, John my husband starts his retirement. Thank You for caring for him during his working years and I pray that he devotes more time to serving You.  May his plans for his retiring years be fulfilled in Jesus' Mighty Name. AMEN.    Thank You Lord for everything.

Amen, Elaine. Jayaseelan is a fine young man. I join in prayer that our Lord will bless him with employment that will take care of his family. Perhaps that employment would be such that would allow him to proceed with the work. Regardless, he needs income that would care for his family. In Jesus name.

Dear Friends,
Its been a long time since I came here. Praise God, he saved my life many a times in the past two year, recently from a pregnant snake. Now pls help me on this, I applied for several other translation projects(Banking & Medical) apart from the Christian books translation. I last received my salary on last November and yet to get my next book to be translated. Also I have applied for other jobs such as sub titling, etc.
If I can get through into some sort of job that would give me enough salary to take care of my family, I would be able to use my time & other resources for helping the poor kids. For the past two years it looks like Satan has chained my legs from moving. pls pray I will break it and be useful to God. thanks

I also put my friend Ray back on this prayer list. He is still going through cancer treatment and is now enduring his second round of chemo and radiation for cancer that is now located in his throat. He is really going through it, Lord. I continue to pray for his recovery. He is suffering so much. Give him strength and a quick healing for this radiation on his throat. In Jesus name.
