Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Dear LT and family, please accept my deepest condolences at the loss of your Dad. The good news is, God owns the Real Estate on both sides. Dad has only changed residence. Now He is with our Father in Heaven...whole, young, and happy. Though those who are left behind must grieve, it will only be for a while because Father God will fill all hearts with happy memories of Dad, and also from time to time allow you to see the new, younger dad in your dreams.

When I lost my beloved Dad and friend, Father God allowed me to stumble on a verse from Scripture, which to this day still brings me comfort. It is Psalm 116:15 - "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints." Hallelijah! God rejoices because His beloved child has returned to his heavenly home. That, dear LT, is also our comfort and blessed hope.

I pray that all of you will feel God's loving arms around you as you face the next few days.

Let's thank God for the knowledge that death is a new beginning.  Though we all dread the loss of loved ones, as christians we know that it is the end of the road to the chaos and heartaches of this world and the beginning of a more fulfilled life.

LT, your dad is the lucky one, for he leaves us for a better place. Our God is good and he puts everything in place at the right time.  In the part of the world that I come from passing on at this age is a blessing that calls for a celebration of a life well lived. The good Lord will be with you and your family in this time of grief.

Dear Lord, You are indeed faithful. Thank You Lord for the life of LT's dad, a life of good health and a life well spent.  Comfort the bereaved family and give them the assurance that their loved one is home with You. Bring all of them together so that they can comfort each other and celebrate a life of the greatest man in their family.  You are our comfort in times like this.  Comfort them with Your Word and love and strengthen them in faith, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

Amen, what a blessed way to go. Father, bless this family and thank You for this long life. Bless LT  during this time of sorrow but happiness for Your great love and plan. Let him be a tower of strength to all those left behind and bless him as he continues to lead AAG. In Jesus name.

Greeting brothers and sisters,

I would like to ask for prayer for my various family members. My dad went home to be with the Lord last night. He was 91 and has experienced relatively good health up until his passing. His heart just gave out and he passed on fairly peacefully.

I thank you for your prayers in advance.

Lord Bless,

LT

Amen, Praise God for this prayer. It fits so appropriately and I pray with these as well. You are a God of mercy and we are such a weak people. Thank You, Father, for Your great love. Thank You for revealing that to us through Your Word. Thank You for all the prophets and all those who speak Your Word to us today. In Jesus name.

Dear Lina...Amen and Amen! This is a beautiful offering to the Lord! I stand in agreement with you! How gracious and merciful is our Lord and God that inspite of our wickedness and sin, He gave His sinless life for us, so that we could have His righteousness. Hallelujah to the Lamb! Without His love and sacrifice, we would all be lost!

"Thank You, Lord Jesus for all that You have done, and continue to do for each of us, Your precious sheep. Amen."
