Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Thanks Elaine. Right now she's doing OK except the partial paralysis which she had before. It's just a matter of trying to find the cause for these mini strokes.

They are doing an MRA and another test right now. They gave her blood thinners and after about 20 the symptoms started clearing though she has some paralysis on that side still.

Please pray for my daughter Tonia. She is 30 and has a 5 yo son. She has been experiencing stroke like symptoms several times over the last few years but they kept saying it was stress. A new doctor read the report from the last incident she had just before Christmas and la strong week he said it was a stroke and she had set an appointment with a neurologist. Sheven had another episode last night and has been in ICU since. Yesterday evening the left of her face drooped and she couldn't talk. The last time she had that reaction she was completely paralyzed on one side for days. They now believe she has a clot in her neck at the base of her brain which is the same thing that caused my uncle a massive stroke about 4 years ago. Please keep her in your prayers.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for bringing us through to this New Year 2015.  The old year has gone by and I leave all its trials, worries and errors behind.  This is a brand new year and I pray to live a brand new life that depicts Your desires.  Father let me place You first in all that I say, and think and do.  Guide my actions towards the direction You wish it to go.  Help me to continue to trust  You in all that I desire each day and I pray that my desires and wishes would be in line with Your plans for me.

I lift up my family to Your throne of  gace.  Father, deliver us from all forms of illness and let us live in truth according to Your Word.

Father bless the jobless with jobs, heal the sick and protect us from all anxieties.

Lord bless my friends, my colleagues and my students.

Help me to work deligenetly to the glory of Your Holy Name.  My wish this year is to place You first in everything I do.  I should spend more time with You than I did last year.  Let me burn with the desire to know You better and let this knowledge be shared with all that I come into contact with.

Father I pray for good health for all my friends and their families and ernestly pray for a breakthrough in our lives.

I pray for all these in Jesus' Mighty Name.  Amen.

THANK YOU LORD FOR ALL ANSWERED PRAYERS.

I sing Your praise and glorify You this day, the last day of the year 2014.  Thank You Lord for all mercies and graces received throughout the year although I did not deserve any of them.  Thank You for my family, my children, my grandchildren, my husband John, my friends, my colleagues, my students and all those who crossed my path this year.  Father I am grateful for Your love and care, for travelling mercies and for  protection from all evil.  I thank You Lord for the gift of life.

As we approach the dawn of a brand New Year, Father I pray that You fill each day with Your will and help me to accept them with gratitude as they come.  The fear of the unknown is always emminent but knowing that You are ever present makes life much more easier.  Lord there are a few requests I would like to make for this coming year:  Guide my steps so that I may not falter; protect my family and give my children a breakthrough in their endeavours; continue to keep John in good health, favour all my friends with answers to their prayers; lead the youth to spiritual  growth and open their hearts to receive Your wonderful love.

Father, fill our hearts with gratitude for all that You do for us anad most especially, help us to share Your word and Your love with  those who do not yet know You. Help me Lord to be an instrument of Your love and peace so that I carry love and peace where ever I go.

Father help me to love and trust You in everything I do.  My desire is to be closer to You now than I have ever been. Help me to live Your Word because it is truth and the truth shall set me free.

Father, I declare that this year is a year of breakthrough for all us who trust in You. Help us to put a long distance between us and sin.  Keep us free from sin and protect us from all anxiety.

I lift up all those struggling with addiction to Your throne of grace. Father continue to intervene in the lives of all these and relieve them from their addiction.

I thank and praise You and make my requests in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

THANK YOU FOR ALL ANSWERED PRAYERS.

Psalm 146

146 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul.

While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in theLord his God:

Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners:

The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous:

The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

10 The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the Lord.

Amen

Psalm 145

14 The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.

15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.

16 Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

18 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

20 The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

Amen
