Dear Lord, thank You for yet another day.  Its amazing, today is the 10th day of the new year and I am grateful for Your mercies, love and grace.  To You O Lord I lift up my hands in praise and thanksgiving.  Thank You for my family and my friends and most especially the friends that draw me closer to You.

Father, thank You for the protection You gave to us during the holidays and now that schools will soon re-open, I lift up my students, my colleagues and the entire school community to Your throne of grace.  I like to say a big thank You for the success of our students in their exams.  I cannot express my gratitude enough but You know how grateful we are.  THANK YOU Lord.

Father, I lift up my special friend to You this morning.  Father bless her and her family and favour her with good health and protect her loved ones from all ills.

Father, I pray that You continue to draw the youth that are plagued with addiction to Your bossom and reveal Yourself to them.  Father I know You will not give up on them.  Open their eyes to see the damage they are doing to themselves.

Father, I pray for healing for all who are sick and relief and comfort for the bereaved.  Father I pray for blessings for all the prayer warriors here on AAG: Elaine, (Moderator), Chip,  Seek, Tammy, Liz, David, Richard, and all those whose names I cannot remember right know; Lord You know them all by name, bless them and favour them with answers to their own needs. 

I pray in the Mighty Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. AMEN.

Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness.  Thank You for Your amazing grace.  Your unconditional love makes us confident to approach Your throne of grace.  We are always favoured with answers to our prayers according to Your will.  Thank Your for the breakthrough in Tonia's situation.

Just to update everyone and thanks for all the prayers. Tonia was discharged this evening. They're saying she had a virus that caused this. I guess in conjunction with this C7 pressure, she'd been on antibiotics for a virus and the virus increased the pressure. But it's passed again. I haven't gotten to speak with her to see if they're going to continue with some treatment to reduce this pressure so this doesn't keep happening.

Thanks everyone. Elaine she had a fracture from a car accident...rolled a truck over, when she was a teenager. They didn't find the fracture til something like 6 or 8 mo later and it was too late to do anything. She's always had problems with her neck since and was having severe neck pain just before this happened. They don't know if it's weather, stress or what, but something is causing this pressure to swell up and push on C7 even more at times. But all the tests are saying that even though C7 could cause stroke, that she hasn't had a stroke.

Father, Tonia is in Your Hands and You know how best to treat her ailment.  You are the healer, the comforter and the redeemer, You reign high and make impossibilities, possible.  You or Lord are our hope. The doctors may do their best but You Lord have the final work.  Direct these doctors to find what is really wrong with her and for them to commence the required treatment. 

Dear Lord, touch her with Your healing hands and heal her.   Our sister Seek needs You more now than ever. In times like this our faith is tested.  Please strengthen her faith in You and assure her of Your ever presence in her life.

We give You thanks and glorify Your name because You are faithful.  We speak with confidence because we are promised that whatever we ask in Your Son's Name You will give to us according to Your will.  Thank You Lord for coming down to our level to listen to our prayers.  Thank You for hearing us when we call on You. Thank You for answering our prayers which we make in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Stress is killing us

They're still doing the test tomorrow, but they have a spine specialist coming this afternoon. They are considering the pressure on her C7 vertebrae. They think it might be swelling with changes in weather and/or stress.
