Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Seek, your family is in my prayers. Sounds like an incredible woman as well as child of God. Sorry for your loss as well as for your aunt & uncle's. I can't imagine losing one of my children & they have lost 3. May He continue to give them strength as they deal once again having lost one of their babies.

Please keep my family in your prayers.  My cousin Lucille passed away yesterday. She was 51.  She had Type One Diabetes since she was a baby.  It cost her her sight, her kidneys, and made it hard for her to walk.  She hired an assistant to help her and she and Andrew ended up falling in love and married.  My aunt and uncle have now lost 3 of their 5 children.  They're having a memorial service in Michigan next weekend.  Her sister Charlotte was the one to inform us and is the one who always puts together our family reunions each year.  And Lucille would come to the reunions like she did everything else.  Blind at an early age, difficulty walking, and yet she had both a bachelors and masters degree in Social Work as well as a masters degree in Epidemiology all earned after she became legally blind.  She could have collected social security but chose to face the world with a career that took her from Michigan, to California, to Ohio and finally to Seattle.  She visited every continent (including Antartica) and loved her family and friends.  She was a blessing to various foster children.  She had a special relationship with God who worked many miracles in her life.

You can get a glimpse into just how special a person she was on her Facebook Memorial page:  https://www.facebook.com/lucille.walls.3

As one of her friends posted on her memorial page: Those here without the Lord, how do you cope? For today we all mourn like those who have no Hope.

Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness.  Lord You have said in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope ". Lord I believe in Your word for Your word is truth.  Thank You for giving us hope.  I hope in You and believe that all things are possible.  I know in my heart that one day I 'll get my son back.  O God of mercy and compassion, I come to You with a painful heart seeking Your help.  In my heart I know that my prayers will not be in vain for as long us there is life, there is hope.

I pray this morning for all those suffering from addiction, that Lord You search their heats and see where the problems lie.  I know it is their choice but You Lord are the Lord of the universe, their problem might be bigger than them but You Lord are bigger than their problem.  Father, I trust in Your mercy and Your faithfulness endures forever.  Look with pity upon the afflicted.

Lord Jesus, You have said that whatever we ask the Father in Your name, He will give it to us. Behold, in Your name I ask the Father for the grace of deliverance of my son Hubert from his addiction.  I believe that the only thing impossible for You is not to have compassion on the afflicted.  Have mercy on us and grant us the grace which we ask of You through Your Sorrowful and tender mother.  Lord I know I am not worthy to even come to Your presence but I also know that You do not turn away from any one who turns to You in her afflication.

Thank You for listening to my whinnings any time I come to presence.  Forgive my unworthiness and favour me with answers to my prayers made in Jesus' Mighty Name.  Amen.

Thank You for all answered prayers.

Father, I came in this morning to say THANK YOU for Your faithfulness.  Your grace and faithfulness endurres forever.  I am struck with awe at what is going on in my life right  now.  Thank You for always being there for me and my family.

I know that sometimes, I am overwhelmed with problems and I feel doubtful but You have always shown me that Your presence is real.  I pray for patience to hold on to the fact that You are faithful.  Give me the courage to persevere even when times are tough.

You have always been my refuge and my strength, guide me in the way I need to go. Be a lamp onto my feet so that I may not falter.  You are my light and my salvation. I will praise Your name forever.

I pray for all my children and grandchildren, for all my relatives and friends, my colleagues and students and all those for whom my love for You binds me to pray.  Bless and favour them all with answers to their prayers and provide for their needs; good health, good jobs, and peace of mind.

I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

Thank You Lord for all answered prayers.
