Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Intercessory prayer is also a daily service Christians owe to God and one another. Those who deny their neighbors prayers of intercession deny them a service Christians are called to perform. Furthermore, it is clear that intercessory prayer is not something general and vague, but something very concrete. It is interested in specific persons and specific difficulties and therefore specific requests. The more concrete my intercessory prayer becomes the more promising it is…

All this proves that intercessory prayer is a gift of God’s grace for every Christian community and for every Christian. Because God has made us such an immeasurably great offer here, we should accept it joyfully. The very time we give to intercession will turn out to be a daily source of new joy in God and in the Christian congregation. - Dietrich Bonhoeffer

“Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for you.” 1 Samuel 12:23

I can't seem to get a picture of myself to upload. Any suggestions?

Gregory: What you said about letting things get bad before going to Him in prayer....I identify with that. I call it forgetfulness. Because I get so wrapped up in my daily work (my career, my job, my responsibility), and maybe also because, well, it's not Church....sometimes I call my workplace, or the world, The Lion's Den. So recently I have been attending The Men's 33 Fraternity at Church, and I heard something: practice forgetfulness. In other words, practice forgetting thinking about myself all the time. You know it's a type of idolatry...self will....being in control; trying all day long to be significant...or going to the corner to be comfortable. So I believe it's OK to try to be always glorifying God in everything I do. I'm not an ACE at practicing this, and you'll have to figure it out with God at the wheel just like me. Hey have you read Joshua? Chapter 11:6...when I read that, I thought, what!? Then I read the concordance and it said the reason God gave Joshua instruction to hamstring perfectly good horses and burn perfectly good chariots that would be put to good use on the battlefield....was because they were to rely solely on HIM...their spiritual condition is more important than highly technological implements of warfare. Our Nation is like Israel. I want to say more, but it's time for chow. Hope this has encouraged you, Brother.

Your mercy is incredible. Your compassion is to the ends of the earth. Your majesty is exceeding and glorious. Thank-you Heavenly Father for your grace and mercy. Thank-you for the many blessings you have bestowed upon Your people. I praise you, Lord God. All Honor, and Glory, and Praise to you, oh Lord. You are Lord of my life. Amen.

Father as I enter into the throne room with you on this special day, you have chosen to cleanse and to bless. Lord you gave me your word and I believe it, so I now give it out to all who are on this pryer site called all about God. You said in Isa 61:1  The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Isa 61:2  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
Isa 61:3  To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Lord it is your word and we believe it therefore I say right now let you will be done, give unto that which you have promised and we will receive it in Jesus name. Lord I declare increase in the lives of all who come to this site and pray for others daily, increase in your faith, increase in your belief, increase in your love, increase in you joy, increase in favors upon your life, increase in your finances, increase in your borders or territory in Jesus name. Amen, amen, amen.

Father, I come to You at this moment, first of all, praising Your holy Name. I lift Ken to You Lord. He is in need of Your loving touch. We all know that we will have to live with the consequences of our choices when we turned our own way. Ken is not asking that you remove these Lord but is asking that You hold him while facing these things. I ask that You lead him in Your ways  & he be willing to walk that path. That road may not be the best paved road ahead, it isn't always the prettiest one to walk, with the flowers by the roadside, but if it's the path of Your way, in the end, it will be the most beautiful path. Please continue to draw him to Your side. Give him strength to endure & persevere. Remove the draw of addictions that haunt him. When he's tempted, please give him the strength to look past the choice & see life is much better without it. In that moment Lord, it's the hardest thing there is. When that drug is in your face & you know that it fades the worries of life, remind him of the consequences. Also, show him the greater things that wait for him if he does not yield. Remove the friends that are not for his good. Grow him in You Lord. In Jesus' Name I ask, Amen
