Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Plan for Prayer

“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” (John 15:7)

Prayer pursues joy in fellowship with Jesus and in the power to share his life with others.

And prayer pursues God’s glory by treating him as the inexhaustible reservoir of hope and help. In prayer, we admit our poverty and God’s prosperity, our bankruptcy and his bounty, our misery and his mercy.

Therefore, prayer highly exalts and glorifies God precisely by pursuing everything we long for in him, and not in ourselves. “Ask, and you will receive . . . that the Father may be glorified in the Son and . . . that your joy may be full.” Unless I’m badly mistaken, one of the main reasons so many of God’s children don’t have a significant life of prayer is not so much that we don’t want to, but that we don’t plan to.

If you want to take a four-week vacation, you don’t just get up one summer morning and say, “Hey, let’s go today!” You won’t have anything ready. You won’t know where to go. Nothing has been planned.

But that is how many of us treat prayer. We get up day after day and realize that significant times of prayer should be a part of our life, but nothing’s ever ready.

We don’t know where to go. Nothing has been planned. No time. No place. No procedure. And we all know that the opposite of planning is not a wonderful flow of deep, spontaneous experiences in prayer. The opposite of planning is the rut.

If you don’t plan a vacation, you will probably stay home and watch TV. The natural, unplanned flow of spiritual life sinks to the lowest ebb of vitality. There is a race to be run and a fight to be fought. If you want renewal in your life of prayer, you must plan to see it.

Therefore, my simple exhortation is this: Let us take time this very day to rethink our priorities and how prayer fits in. Make some new resolve. Try some new venture with God. Set a time. Set a place. Choose a portion of Scripture to guide you.

Don’t be tyrannized by the press of busy days. We all need midcourse corrections. Make this a day of turning to prayer — for the glory of God and for the fullness of your joy.

Many of us need to read this. I know I need to read it again.

Father Lord, I stand in agreement and say AMEN to all the prayers offered in this prayer room today.

Thank You Lord for all blessings received, for Your protection of my family during the night and the new day which You have brought us into.  Father I adore and praise You for You are awesome.  Your ways supercede all ways and Your plans are of the highest order; Father help us to recognize You in everyone we come across in our paths today and guide us in all our actions may be to the glory of Your name.

Lord Jesus, You have said that whatever we ask the Father in Your name will be given to us, therefore in Your name I ask the Father for the grace of healing, protection and deliverance for all who call on Your name today.  I lift up those who are jobless, those who are in pain, those suffering from one ailment or another and all those whose faith is in You. I pray that Your favour should be on them today.  Grant our needs as we lift them up to You for You are our only refuge, our provider, our healer and our source of strength.

Father draw us to the right places of worship where Your name is being praised and adored.  Guide us to do Your will and may your will be done in our lives. Amen.

Thank You Lord for all answered prayers.

Hi warriors. I'm here praying with you. I thank God for my lunch and ask Him to bless it. I'm praying for all of you and with all of you.

I lift my sister and her friends to you Lord. W and her husband came up on a terrible accident yesterday; one of the cars was on fire. The only good news is God was there with them, and they are medical people. They could not save everyone and are feeling down today. God I don't even know where to start praying. Please forgive me. They requested prayer. God you know what the need is. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. I love you!

God bless,

Mary

Lord, please bless BH. He opened my stubborn bottle of pop for me. The seal was too hard to open. BH carries heavy files for me and never questions. He's a kind hearted person. God bless all you guys who help the ladies who have trouble carrying things, reaching things or opening things. It means a lot to us.

God thank you for my lunch, please bless it. It's a busy day today. I thank you for peace and quiet today. I lift all these prayers here and stand in agreement. I lift all these warriors that I love and AAG. I ask for healing, deliverance and prosperity where needed. In Jesus Christ's name.

Love,

Mary
