Greetings Prayer Room Participants,
Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.
There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.
Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.
If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.
(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

I am asking for prayers tonight for the families of two friends of mine and my wife.
First this morning we learned that a 35 year old little sister of ours from our Church family passed away suddenly in the hospital from complications due to flu. Her husband and Mom, Dad, and siblings are all Christians. Pray for the Lord to comfort them as he knows best. She was a dear lady and will be missed greatly.
Then.....this afternoon we learned that another dear friend and little sister was taken by God yesterday. A loving wife and mother whose gentle nature and love for Jesus was incredible. Pray for God to comfort her family also in their loss.
Beth Anne and Christine loved Jesus and it was shown in how they lived their lives. Losing friends, children, loved ones strikes at the very heart of us. Please join me in praising God for who they were in our journey.

I pray for Maritza. I think she represents many who are struggling with life situations. She has a beautiful family and yet has lost some hope. Father, I believe You are wanting to draw Maritza closer to You. I pray that You will show her what is going on in her life and what You are doing. I pray for her children. I pray they will not be disillusioned by their situations. I ask for Your comfort for this family. In Jesus name.

With the closeing of one more year and the beginning of a new year I would like to ask for your help by praying along with me that this new up coming year will be the start of endless possibilties for my children and myself.

She's cutting at 11? Lord Jesus have mercy please...Char would it be ok if I asked others to pray for her on a few other forums I go to? Is it ok if I tell them her first name? Also, is her friend cutting or is it just her?

Dear friends, so sorry I can't come here as often as I would like to. I am still at Hubert's and will not be going back home till the 6/01/2013. He is well and still struggling to be straight. I am just happy to be around to take care of him. I think our being there with him is part of the Lord's plan towards his healing. Thank you all for your prayers. God's blesssings.
