Greetings Prayer Room Participants,
Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.
There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.
Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.
If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.
(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Thanks Elaine. I know he's at peace now but I can't help but keep crying. It's worse I guess because I had been wanting to go see them and didn't get to. I'm kinda kicking myself over it I guess. I'm going to find a way somehow though. I've wanted to see them and their neighbor Helen. She's not been well since her husband passed away last year. I don't want to get more news later. Keeping in touch with her on Facebook isn't the same.

Sorry I have not had the time to be here. Haven't even been able to take the time to read for quite awhile but I did want to ask that you all please pray for my friend Jean Henry and her grandson Zach. Pastor Jack Henry had a stroke and was in a wheelchair. His grandson would help him to church every Sunday because Jean wasn't able. Jack fell and it pulled her down and they were both banged up badly. He had another stroke months back and was no longer able to come to church. Mom tried to visit and take them dinner every Tuesday. I've wanted to visit yet it's difficult to take Mike especially around the elderly as he gets too hyper and careless.
I was just thinking last week how I wanted to go see them and thought I'd see if someone would keep Mike a couple hours this past weekend so I could. But I will finally get to see them tomorrow when I attend Jack's funeral. :-( He died in his sleep Thursday night.
At least I know he's not in pain anymore and is with God.
Pastor Jack was 85. He never went anywhere without his Bible. He was involved in prison ministry and is the one who got our friend David out of prison and through Teen Challenge.
I'm not sure how well Jean is going to hold up now. And I know Zach is going to be devastated.

I'm here praying. I love you all.
I'm asking God for revival in our schools and that our children can come to know Jesus Christ and talk about Him without being told to stop. Lord, please turn our schools around and right a terrible wrong. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

God, I give You the praise and glory today. I thank You for Your love. I lift to God our sister in Ky. Please help her Lord. I know she needs to get out of jail, but I don't know everything else she needs. God You do. I lift all the prayers here to God in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Bless, I can't even imagine as a parent the pain they must be going through. I lift up this family that they will be given the strength that only God can give through this time.
Amen to Elaine & Chips requests as well in lifting up our brothers & sisters in Christ & those who are not in Him.
