I need you good folks
It makes me feel sellfish asking for prayer because I know people have needs greater than me, but I have a serious alchohol addiction that has caused me many problems. Please ask God/Jesus to heal me of this and I believe he will. I've begged God to help me with this..Thanks

Glory to God! I’m sober and praising God for it everyday. I’ve fought and struggled with alcohol addiction most of my life. The longest stretch of sobriety for me as an adult was about three years. It’s not a coincidence that I was attending church, reading the Bible and in fellowship with Christians at the same time. I fell away from the church and guess what? Satan does tempt me from time to time but the passion God has put on my heart now to stay away from alcohol is so strong I can almost say I will never drink again. The only way I can do this is with His help. That of course is the key as it is with any struggle. If I trust on my own devices I’m sure to fail and start drinking again.
Reading this thread and the prayers and encouragement sent my way is extremely inspiring and uplifting. I sincerely thank you all. God Bless and Praise God! -
