All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I come here today for prayer and encouragement to restore my marriage. I have been separated for 7 years and questioning myself and God, why am I still married? why havent one of us taken the step to pursue with Divorce? The answer lies in our precious Lord, DIVORCE is not an option it is not the correct answer, our heavenly father Amen, He has been trying to teach me, guide me, and I have ignored all signs, this is why I've been experiencing so much hurt thru love and life. I have come to my realizations I beleive that God will reconcile my marriage, I have faith that He will guide us into reconcilation. I need all the help and prayers you all can offer for me and my husband Johnny. To pray for reconcilation of our marriage and family. I pray that you my God return my husband back to his nest, back to his home and family where he belongs. that all bad thoughts, experiences, situations, past be erased from my husbands lifem mind, and heart, that he gives his life over to you my Lord and walks this beautiful walk of Christ with me and his son. Oh my Lord, I pray for strength and for patience to wait on you my Lord, please forgive me and my debtors and please let them forgive me, and do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the eveil one, Praise be to you my Lord, you are the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory In Jesus name AMEN.

As we pass through this another holiday season (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year), many of us, or perhaps most of us are spending this time of year without the presence of our 'one flesh' helpmate. Yet, while I am past the shock of the situation, it is none the less just as sad, painful and heart-rending as it has been throughout this journey of 'singleness.' Still, this time for me has been a time of discovery, a time to be with God, and a time to know that He is ever present with me... "...and be content with what you have, because God has said,"Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5b What a promise from God..."Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." Now, there is a promise you can take to the bank! Too often, when we feel abandoned by our spouse, we cry out...'Woe is me!' We seek solace wherever we can find it. Yet, it is our God, our Heavenly Father who lets us know..."Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." We are God's children, and while we may stumble and fall, skinning our emotional knees, He is there as a loving parent to sooth our wounds. And wounds they are, emotional wounds cut deep into our very being by the break down of our marriage, the dissolution of our family, and the absence of our life-time partner when we need them most. It is at this season of our lives that Christ Jesus steps in to be our spouse for a season, that time while our flesh and blood spouse is absent. It was in this season that I truly found Christ Jesus and it has been the presence of the Holy Spirit in my own heart that has given me a sense of peace (a peace like none other that I had ever experienced in all my life), a peace that has supported me and carried me through this season. It is a season in my life that I would not trade for anything, for it has been and continues to be time of discovery of who I am in Christ. This can be a time of discovery for any stander as they stand for their marriage and family relationships, walking alongside Christ Jesus, their spouse for a season. Remember these comforting thoughts about how God will take care of you during this season you are experiencing without your flesh and blood spouse... "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life ? "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:25-34 Christ Jesus, our spouse for a season, is our provider, our helpmate, our companion. He says that he will always be there for you and for me..."Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
