I truly enjoy reading today’s authors and thank God for each one of the Godly ones. Men like R.C. Sproul, John McArthur, Charles Stanly and Roger Olson are such a blessing.
The common denominator among these brothers of ours is that they love God's word and they are very acquainted with the saints of old.
If you are crazy about God, you need to get books by Tozer and Spurgeon. Talk about Meat in a very easy to understand format and language.
I encourage you beloved family to dive into literature that will MAKE YOU want to drown in God's word, such is Tozer's "The Pursuit of God." It's a mere 121 pages, but what a beautiful simple exposition of divine truths. Is one of those books you read 10 times and love it more each time you read it.
If you have read it and care to share your favorite portion of the book that would be great.
If you disagree with any portion of the book - I would love to discuss the disagreement in an irenic fashion with you as well.

It is good to read what you wrote. RIGHT ON BRO!
It's time for the body to understand that is not about denominations, as you have so eloquently brought to our remembrance. Our Lord is not coming for a denomination but for the church which is among all Christian denominations that have the Essentials doctrines in our Christian faith.
It is amazing how relevant the word of God is throughout the ages. I am glad to read you are a carnivore haha you have gone from milk to meat.

We are nothing without God, but with Him more than conquered....
