1 You have searched me, LORD,
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
you, LORD, know it completely.
5 You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.

Psalm 139:1-6
New International Version (NIV)

You know me better than I know myself dear God, please make me think only what is right in Your eyes and do what will fulfill Your purpose for my life. Amen

Being cheerful keeps you healthy. It is slow death to be gloomy all the time. (Proverbs17: 22)

A man can inherit a house and money from his parents, but only the LORD can give him a sensible wife. (Proverbs 19: 14)

People may plan all kinds of things but the LORD's will is going to be done. (Proverbs 19: 21)

Hebrews 3:4 for every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.

vs. 6 but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house - whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm until the end.

Because Christ lives in us as believers, we can remain confident and hopeful to the end. We are saved by our courage, and hope that reveal our faith is real

Without this enduring faithfulness, we could easily be blown away by the winds of temptation, false teaching of persecution.

Hebrews 3:14 for we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end.

Hebrews 11:6 You can never please God without faith, without depending on Him. Anyone who wants to come to God must believe that there is a God and that He rewards those who sincerely look for Him.

The deeds God finds pleasing are those done in service for Him!

Psalms 5 vs 1 Give ear to my words, o Lord, Consider my groaning.

The secret of a close relationship with God is to pray to him earnestly in the morning. In the morning our minds are more free from problems and then we can commit the whole day to God.

Psalms 67:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden. The God who is our salvation.

vs 20 God is to us a God of Deliverance; And to God the Lord belong escapes from death.

vs 21 Surely God will shatter the head of His enemies. The hairy crown of him who goes on in his guilty deeds.

God sets His people free and crushes His enemies. Salvation is freedom from sin and death. Those who refuse to turn to God will be crushed by sin and death. How much better it will be for those who love God, and fear the consequences of sin!

“THE CRACKED POT”

2 Corinthians 12:9-10
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

A water bearer in India had two large pots, each hung on opposite ends of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the masters house, the cracked pot arrived only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water to his masters house.

Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments, perfect for which it was made. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do. After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream.

"I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you."

"Why?" asked the bearer. "What are you ashamed of?"

"I have been able, for these past two years, to deliver only half my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your masters house. Because of my flaws, you have to do all of this work, and you don't get full value from your efforts," the pot said.

The water bearer felt sorry for the old cracked pot, and in his compassion he said, "As we return to the masters house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path."

Indeed, as they went up the hill, the old cracked pot took notice of the sun warming the beautiful wild flowers on the side of the path, and this cheered it some. But at the end of the trail, it still felt bad because it had leaked out half its load, and so again the pot apologized to the bearer for its failure. The bearer said to the pot, "Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of your path, but not on the other pot's side? That's because I have always known about your flaw, and I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back from the stream, you've watered them. For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my masters table. These beautiful flowers fill each and every day of the masters life with great joy and happiness. Without you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grace his house."

~ ~ ~ Each of us has our own unique flaws. We are all cracked pots. But if we will allow it, the Lord will use our flaws to grace His Fathers table. In Gods great economy, nothing goes to waste. Don't be afraid of your flaws. Acknowledge them, and you too can be the cause of beauty. Know that in our weakness we find our strength.

“God Bless”

Colossians 1:10-12
And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11.being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12. giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.

Psalms 73:23 But even so, you love me! You are holding my right hand.

Though our courage and strength may fail, we know that one day we will be raised to life to serve Him forever. He is our security, and we must cling to Him!
