Colossians 3:12-13 So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience;

vs13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.

Imitate Christ's compassionate, forgiving attitude. Realizing God's infinite love and forgiveness can help you love and forgive others.

a> Proverbs 16 :6-9
New American Standard Bible

6By lovingkindness and truth iniquity is atoned for,
And by the fear of the LORD one keeps away from evil.

7When a man’s ways are pleasing to the LORD,
He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

8Better is a little with righteousness
         Than great income with injustice.

9The mind of man plans his way,
But the LORD directs his steps.

AMEN my sis in Christ.

Luke 24:6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’8 Then they remembered his words.

Matthew 10:39 He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.

As we take our cross and follow Him, our different values, morals, goals, and purposes will set us apart from others. God should be your first priority.

Jesus is looking beyond the few years that we spend on earth. He has eternity in mind. The people who live totally for the "now," might gain great wealth and power, but they will leave it all behind when they die. Those people will lose everything they felt was worthwhile in life.

Even Christians can get sucked into focusing on things that are only temporal and forget that it's those things of eternal value that really matter. The life we want to be sure to "get" is not this life but the next one.

What is the focal point of your life--the things of the world or the things of Christ? Make a list of the most important things in your life. Put a star beside those things that have eternal value. Determine to focus on these items and put a lower priority on all the rest.

 Galatians 2 : 20-21
New American Standard Bible

20“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. 21“I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.”

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.—James 4:8.

Enoch walked with God.—Can two walk together, except they be agreed?—It is good for me to draw near to God.

The Lord is with you, while ye be with him: and if ye seek him, he will be found of you: but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you. When they in their trouble did turn unto the Lord God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, . . . and having an high priest over the house of God; let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith.

Gen.5:24. -Amos 3:3.--Psa.73:28.II Chr.15:2,4.Jer.29:11-13.Heb.10:19-22.

1 John 2:5 but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him.

The apostle John wrote his first epistle to encourage believers not to just look like real Christians, but to prove they are genuine by how they live. The evidence that a person’s faith is real is not found in some mystical experience with God. The proof that people truly know and love God is found in submitting to His authority and to His Word. John writes, “But whoever keeps His Word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked” (1 John 2:5-6).

If we claim that we have been transformed by the gospel and intimately know and love God, we should validate it by our obedience to His Word.

Obedience to God is an expression of our love for God.
