Colossians 3:12, 13 So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience;

vs13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.

Paul tells us to imitate Christ's compassionate, forgiving attitude. The key to forgiving others is remembering how much God has forgiven you. Realizing God's infinite love and forgiveness can help you love and forgive others.

Ezekiel 36:25 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.

In the face of tomorrow, that can never be said of myself; tomorrow is always a caveat.  Tomorrow is always a yes but. Or an and yet. And this is why I need saving. Because I’ll never get it right, on my own, and even if I lived a good day, there would be the day to come. I need help.

Psalm 130:5 I wait for the Lord, my soul does wait, and in His word do I hope.

We need to somehow keep part of our day clear for us to wait for the Lord.

God knows us better than we know ourselves and we must wait for Him
to lead us and show us the way. Often times when we do so, we find that He
is constantly showing us some of the wonders on the path.

Let us resist the temptation to be busy and instead learn to wait
and be still. When we do this, we shall find that our journey seems
smoother.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.” (Romans 1:16)

 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14)

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33)

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, vs23 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

The fruit of the Spirit is the spontaneous work of the Holy Spirit in us. The Spirit produces these character traits that are found in the nature of Christ. They are the by-products of Christ's control-we can't obtain them by trying to get them without His help. If we want the fruit of the Spirit to grow in us, we must join our lives to His. We must know Him, love Him, remember Him, and imitate Him. As a result, we will fulfill the intended purpose of the law, to love God and our neighbors.

Jer 29:11  For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

This deliverance will not depend upon your merits, but upon my own mercy, and kind thoughts and purposes I have for the seed of Abraham my servant, and I am resolved in my own thoughts what to do, I intend not the blotting out of the name of Israel from the earth, but to give such an end to their trouble as themselves expect and desire.
