Luke 16:10 He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much.

God does not require a man to have one talent, three talents, or five talents. He only requires that a man be faithful with whatever he has been given.

Never belittle any task that the Lord has given you, because even things that may seem little are important to Him.

The Lord tests you first with little things, and the more He finds He can trust you with, the more He gives you. He knows that if you’ll do little things diligently, faithfully, and well, then He can trust you with big things.

Philippians 2:12-15 So, then my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. 14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing; 15 so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world.

To be like Christ, we must train ourselves to think like Christ. To change our desires to be more like Christ's, we need the power of the indwelling Spirit, the influence of faithful Christians, obedience to God's Word. Do what He wants and trust Him to change your desires.

Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Wisdom begins with knowing God. He gives insight into living because He created life. To know God is not just to know the facts about Him, but to stand in awe of Him and have a relationship with Him.

We are challenged in the Scriptures to a reverential fear of God, which is the best type of fear that there is. It causes us to be concerned about disobeying Him or living in opposition to His ways.

To walk with God, is to trust everything in Him.  Bring your concerns to His feet. Look at God, and don't fret over little things? God is the master of the universe, the creator of everything.  Don't worry, and bring up your issues in prayer. According to His design, it will be done.  We just have to know what He wants us to do, and be obedient. Thank Him for being there for you!

Phillipians 4:6-7 6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

It is not happy people that are thankful. It is thankful people that are happy so be thankful to God in everything... and be happy, regardless of what your challenges may be :)

2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.

It is important as we use God’s Word that we are committed to saying no more and no less than the Scriptures actually say. If we mishandle the Word, we misrepresent it, which ultimately misrepresents God’s character. This is why Paul challenged Timothy, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15). A key priority for unashamed, approved workers for Christ is to accurately interpret (“rightly divide”) God’s Word. As we study, we can depend on the Spirit, who inspired it, to give us understanding and wisdom.

Through our words and actions, we have opportunity to represent God’s Word in ways that genuinely reflect God’s heart. That is one of the greatest privileges of the Christian life.

Psalm 46: 10 "Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

At God's final victory we will stand quietly before the Lord Almighty. So be still now, reverently honoring Him and His power and majesty. Take time each day to be still and to exalt God.
