James 4:14 How do you know what is going to happen tomorrow? For the length of your lives is as uncertain as the morning fog, now you see it; soon it is gone.

James warned against an arrogance that assumes endless days will be available to carry out our good intentions.

When we follow God's urging with our action now, today will be golden!

I read this early in the morning..... and said a big Amen.... I think God want me to hear it again..... thank you dear sister for sharing it.... I love the scripture and the saying it is so true.......

When we put our problems in God’s hands, He puts His peace in our hearts.

Yes and amen!!!

May His peace reign in our hearts always.

When our plans fall apart and there is no remedy, how do we deal with frustration and delay? Isaiah 26:3-4 is an anchor for our souls in every storm of life: “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lordforever, for in [Jehovah], the Lord, is everlasting strength.” Whether we’re facing annoying inconvenience or heartbreaking loss, this rock-solid promise is worth memorizing and repeating every night when we close our eyes to sleep.

Today, when plans are shattered, do our minds dwell on the circumstances or on the Lord? During frustrating delay, can we still trust the loving heart of God? In the hymn “Like a River Glorious,” Frances Havergal so beautifully expressed what we long for.

When we put our problems in God’s hands, He puts His peace in our hearts.

God Is My Rock
Psalm 18:30-32 What a God He is! How perfect in every way! All His promises prove true. He is a shield for everyone who hides behind Him.
vs31 For who is God except our Lord? Who but He is as a rock?
vs32 He Fills me with strength and protects me wherever I go.

1 John 5:1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and whoever loves the Father loves the child born of Him.

When we become Christians, we become part of God's family believers as our brothers and sisters. God determines who the other family members are, not us.

Psalm 27:14 Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.
Leviticus 3:24 "The Lord is my portion", says my soul, "Therefore I have hope in Him".

Hope in and wait for the Lord because often God uses waiting to refresh, renew, and teach us. Make good use of your waiting times by discovering what God may be trying to teach you in them!

Psalm 65:3 Though we are overwhelmed by our sins, you forgive them all.

Although we may feel overwhelmed by the multitude of our sins, God will forgive them all if we ask sincerely.

Do you feel as though God could never forgive you, that your sins are too many, or that some of them are too great? The good news is that God can and will forgive them all. Nobody is beyond redemption, and nobody is so full of sin that he or she cannot be made clean.
