Catholics & Protestants are still fighting, but in Heaven we'll laugh about it.

Let's not take our zeal to convert the converted too seriously. Jesus was rejected when he was on the cross and "became sin for us" so that we can be resurrected onto the New Earth. His own Father rejected him...temporarily.

Do we really think that there will be a Protestant, Catholic, Mormon, Hindu, Muslim, segregated Heaven? No, all that God has redeemed from EVERY NATION, TONGUE & PEOPLE will live in harmony with God.

I have a few ideas on my site http://EmotionalMentalMind Health.YolaSite.com. Depression or any problem is solvable, but when you attach shame, secrecy, alcohol, drugs, foolish decisions and actions UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DEPRESSION to it, then your depression becomes a giant and very difficult to beat. Ok, we are Christians and also depressed and we feel like bad Christians sometimes--I do. But, in Heaven the curse of depression will be lifted. I won't let depression stop me from going to work, being kind, thinking of someone else's problem first, helping others, doing my duty, or praying and reading the Bible. If you give in to the bully he only gets stronger. When knocked down don't feel like a loser, run to Jesus...then run back and rebuke the bully of mental illness and go about you God given tasks. Rejoice, laugh, dance and sing God's praises, even in the midst of a blinding snow storm of depression.

This book was published in 2004, but why haven't I seen "HEAVEN" by Randy Alcorn before? I have, it was in the pages of the Bible all along.

I am a newbie in this site and I just found out this group... so good day to everyone... Out of desperation i search the net to find something that will help me. I personally believe that Jesus brought me here.
I pray to Jesus to help me surpass all the bad feelings and emotion i have right now.. because for the past few weeks I felt so worthless... I do not know why, maybe because until now I don't have a job, I don't have a love life. As a day passed by, it gets even worst.. I feel more negative about my self... I lost my sense of living. i just stuck myself at home. Suicidal tendencies are keep coming on my thoughts. I knew I need to fight this, I believed that Jesus is with me to give me strength... The mere fact that I'm writing this right now, it only means that Jesus is working and helping me.

Thank you for the encouragment. Christians, like anyone who wants to survive and succeed in life, must be disciplined. Sometimes it's even hard to pray and read the Bible when I'm depressed, but when I force myself I feel better. Depression is like the ocean. The big waves eventually die done and I will get better in time, strengthened for the next storm. I still haven't sweat great drops of blood like Jesus did in the Garden, so I guess, it's not as bad as I sometimes think it is. When I do my Job-type journal: "Why me God?" I actually feel a little better. God reminds me of the good things He is doing. Amen, life goes on. I'm looking forward to Heaven and the resurrection on the New Earth and the city of New Jerusalem.

I concur totally with Bro Bob B. One day at a time, one moment as a time. Only God's grace.

It's deep and very painful, but necessary to go through. Fortunate Jesus goes through it with us. He leads.

We are here for you BibleSword... in prayer, in spirit, in love, in support.

All I can do is pray for you BibleSwordWords.God is with you and will help you one day at a time to do what you know is the right thing to do. Life can be very wearing on us all, and when you have a depression problem everything is even harder to deal with. Talk to God often about what you are going through, God loves you and cares about you just as you are.
