Be open to God and his influence in your life.  Be filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ - to the praise and glory of God.  Keep yourself prepared for the Second Coming of our Lord.

Christmas is a special time of year marked by our joyful celebration of the Incarnation of the Son of God and eager anticipation of our blessed hope and glorious Second Coming of Jesus Christ--our Lord and Savior, Emmanuel, the Messiah.

Christmas shouldn't be reduced to a crass commercialized holiday marked by excessive consumerism manifested in binge shopping, a series of parties, and nursing hang-overs.

No, this is the time to remind the world that there is true peace, joy and eternal life only in our Lord and Savior, and that he is coming again.

  • "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" (Jn3:16).
  • "Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book" (Rev22:7).

thanks brother,God is good and its good to be in the house of the Lord.i am very happy for all the answer that you give to me,i can see time is going, and Jesus is coming soon,we need to prepare for him each and every time, because as the bible said,no one know the time and day that Jesus is coming.lets prepare for this.may the Lord bless you forever.

Christmas is my favorite time of year as I'm sure it is for many. It's a reminder of joy, peace, good will towards men. Of course the most important thing is the coming of our Savior in a manger. Our Emmanuel, our God with us, our El Shaddai, our Hope, Resurrection, Sacrifice, Forgiver of sins, Atonement, our spotless Lamb.

I do celebrate it with lights, trees, garland, & yes Santa Claus as well. I start decorating the day after Halloween & it takes me about 2 weeks to finish & I'm still usually doing things like creating new wreaths in the meantime. I love the Christmas cartoons like Rudolph & Satan Claus is coming to town. I use to love doing the choir cantatas at church but Praise Teams have replaced choirs. Actually, I think I'm going right now to finish my neighbor's wreaths. One day I'm going to start charging. lol

thanks Taminator,i get you but i still need more explanation on what Halloween is and why its celebrated?

I've not really dug into that one. I see it as a perfect opportunity to get tons of free candy. lol

k,thanks Taminator may God bless you
