All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Our life groups have begun for the semester again and I went to the Praise and Worship group Sunday night.  They showed a video and then had discussion.  I don't recall who the guy was speaking on the video but he was going over what it meant to be a Holy Priesthood.  He said we first need to see ourselves as Priests and what a Priest does (based on Deuteronomy) is:

  1. They build the Tabernacle (whether a building with others or the one where you meet individually with God).
  2. They carry the presence (arc of the covenant) of God (meaning we take God with us wherever we go so that the atmosphere should shift when we arrive.
  3. They minister to God or worship.
  4. They bless the people (which he said is not meant to wish them everything good in life but to help them walk in their destiny to God).

Something extremely interesting that kinda blew us all away is this:

I'm sure some have no doubt seen this but I had not.

As he said, this is what the enemies saw from above the camp, what God was showing years before Jesus.

Hi Seek, God bless you!

I learned it different. Judah is the lion. Members of Dan introduced idols into Israel. I learned Dan is the scorpion. Those are the only two symbols I can remember because I'm at work and don't have my book on astronomy and the Bible at my fingertips. It follows what we now pervert and call the horoscope. In the book of Revelation, Dan is omitted. And I think 1/2 the tribe of Benjamin is missing. Anyone who introduced idolatry into Israel would be stricken from the book of life.

The constellations were meant to tell a story. The heavens declare the glory of God (Biblehub).

(To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun. (Psalm 19:1-4)

There's also another verse that talks about God's throne. If you have a chart of constellations, you can follow the Bible verse. It makes sense.

Love,

Mary

LOL Sorry, I hadn't even noticed all this man, lion, etc. stuff.  I was just trying to locate a picture to use to show the cross.  What this guy was pointing out is how God arranged them by numbers so that the size of the ranks formed the shape of a cross that the enemies would see camped around them.

Sorry Seek, I overthink everything. I must drive my school instructors nuts. I saw the cross part too, but those animals I had to think about that too.   LOL  Sis. Krystal (the lady who grades my papers) tried to heal me of the strange malady of over answering. I think she got annoyed. She marked off for everything I over answered. It did actually help because I didn't get what she was talking about. Too much paralegal school. The ministry's instructions say to answer in full sentences. I'm thinking, yeah, I can do that. Well, sometimes a noun and a verb are sufficient. I have a little backsliding once in a while. I think she goes...tsk..tsk..tsk. I am almost finished with the lessons. She's probably thrilled for that. I start the second part which means more papers. I ask God to help and strengthen Sis. Krystal through the remainder of my schooling.

I think this malady goes back to paralegal school and essay questions. A 5 point question means you give maybe a couple sentences. When you get essay questions 35-50 points, the answer had better 1-2 paragraphs at least. I want all the points I can get.

Love,

Mary

I can see your malady in this reply. ROFL

p.s. I was checking my grades just now. One question Sis. Krystal wanted two words. I typed 4 lines. Backsliding moment.

Love,

Mary

I've also heard that the anti-Christ will come from the tribe of Dan.

Seek,

This sight is similar to what Balaam would have seen when he was taken by Balak to oversee the camp of Israel and prophesy against them. What a sight! He was overwhelmed. Balak wanted him to put a curse on this nation but instead he reiterated the blessings of God upon them. We had all better keep this in mind. They are a stubborn people but God will break them and bring them home.
