Amen!

There are many cultures that reject their family members when they turn to Christ. Personally, I don't think a parent could ever stop loving you. If this is the case, we knew these things would happen upon accepting Christ. Luke 14:26 says "If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters--yes, even their own life--such a person cannot be my disciple." We knew there was a sacrifice upon receiving Him. We chose to follow Him instead of our flesh. We chose to follow the true Father. I feel in this situation is continue to respect them & pray for them. You can be a light to them & an example to Christ.

Its really hard to miss someone who we love ; I have so much respect and love towards my parents but they never understand me , life is getting too hard lot of mixed emotions , when parents fail to do there part it develops a sense of mental torture and hate towards them with that heavy feeling I cant go and sit inside church that too with an unforgiving heart , what to do im really tired

We can sometimes best honor them by loving them in spite of their rejection.  By continuing to reach out.  By keeping distance at times even just to keep down dissention and arguments.  I had to study this because of my own family.  My mom kept talking about "respect".  Respect however is something that is earned.  Honor is not the same as respect.  I honor my parents in providing for me, keeping a roof over my head, even in later getting me to church, in praying for me, etc.  I do not "respect" certain actions, while respecting others.

Thanks a lot choco :) God Bless you :)
