MY CHOICES OF THE THREE MOST IMPORTANT VERSES IN THE BIBLE
First = John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (KJV).
First public announcement that God was giving out free "get out of jail cards" (out of the bondage of sin by Christ) to whosoever will.
Second = Ephesians 2:8, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God:" (KJV).
The mechanics of God's free offer - How we receive this gift of grace (unmerited love and mercy) from Almighty God by believing and trusting through His Son Jesus Christ.
Third = Revelation 20:15, "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (KJV).
Redemption! Reward! Eternal life in one of the Father's many mansions.....and not eternal torment.

I am sorry Richard.... I resent it. I had cancelled the request because of my insecurity's. I thought maybe you would think ... I was being an idiot or a pest. I am unsure why I was thinking that..... but that's why you couldn't find how to respond. Thank you for accepting.

Just to give you a heads-up, Richard is probably one of the most calmest, sweetest, coolest men on the site or that is how I've found him. He's very loving too, almost as much as me.

Take a look at Romans 10:17, " So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
It's great that you're hanging out at this web site.....cause...there's a lot of Scripture (God's Word) to be found in these parts.
And the word "hearing"- rhema, in the Greek, means an utterance, precept or doctrine.
Which then takes us to Ephesians 1: 13, " In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation - having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,"

Richard, I re-sent the request and I hope you accept it. Yes ,we can talk here. That scripture you mentioned .. faith comes by hearing ..has been on my mind a lot lately. This past month I have listened to more sermons than I have in all of few years put together. I also have been reading more often here on this site. One thing I am not doing much of is reading my bible. I did read 1 and 2nd John though. =D. I am trying..... thank you for taking time for us here in the forum discussions.
