Interesting thought Jean, I'm not aware of any such scripture(s) - Jesus was certainly joyful (Luke 10:21). I am sure that he had a great sense of humour too (Luke 13:32), IMO.

I don't know a Bible verse, but I think He has a fine sense of humor.

Hey Jean, what a wonderful question, I imagine Jesus laughing this morning thanks to you, yes I agree, Jesus shared all our natural human emotions, and can imagine Him laughing with the children and his friends. What a beautiful image. I do think he porbably never lost control I cant imagine Jesus doing anything 'uncontrollable, as I think He took the work His father gave Him so seriously from a boy. But I do know Jesus loves us to laugh, and sing and dance and be joyous and believe he was just the same at times.

thank you for your comment Lucy,oh yeah, it's awesome to imagine God laughing so hard  but you know, for me personally, it would be more amazing to think i am the one who has made Him laugh.it's like an awesome achievement.hahaha

Hi Jean,

The Lord has helped me to be fairly familiar with His Bible.

I cannot think of any Scripture that comes close to describing hard laughter by Jesus.

There are 3 Psalms that sort of........... kinda like........ refer to God laughing at non-believers trying to put Him down.

Psm. 2:4,  "He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: The Lord shall have them in derision."

Psm. 37:13, "The Lord shall laugh at him: for He seeth that his day is coming."

Psm. 59:8, "But Thou, O Lord, shalt laugh at them; Thou shalt have all the heathen in derision."

Grace and Peace.

When I was first learning about personal prophecy, I was hesitant and nervous. It was very new for me. (I know some of you may not believe in personal prophecy, but hear me out please.)

I think the Lord wanted me to try it, but didn't want to force me to try it. For days, I had personal prophecy pop up in front of me. I turned on the tv, what was the teaching? Personal prophecy. I had bible e-mails from persons I didn't know. What was it all about? Personal prophecy. A Christian magazine had a great article on...personal prophecy. It was comical because I began looking for the next message. I could feel His sense of humor.

I view Jesus as my Lord, but also my big brother.

He showed His sense of humor

It shows His humor in a great teaching lesson.

Hi Mischelle,

Thanks for this info, I'll definitely would love to read that book hehe..

Jesus is awesome and every detailed story when He was here on earth interests me a lot :) just as everybody does :)

God bless you always!
Ella,

Jean

The Word tell us when the apostles tried to stop the children from coming to Him to be Blessed.  He told them as you know, let them come near.  So you know there must have been so many around Him.  I know He had to have been filled w/ so much Joy.  The laughter would have been natural.  I think there were many, many times Jesus would of laughed/
