Is it okay to go to unbelievers' fiesta?

A while ago I was invited by my friend to come over to their town fiesta. I wanted to go. I ate with them. Is it a sin to go with them? Is there a Bible verse that says that it is wicked? Guys I need your help on this :(

If all you did is have a meal together then I don't see it as a sin. There's nothing wrong with spending times like that with non-believers, it's a great opportunity to talk about Christ with those who don't know him.

After reading Matthew 11:18-19 it seems that Jesus had no problems sitting and eating with publicans and sinners, why should we?



But wisdom is justified of her children.
