im starting to believe i lost my salvation, due to the fact a voice in my head said the holy spirit was demonic. i believe i 'committed' the unpardonable sin. and will not be forgiven. this same voice has also told me i was a failure. im going to hell. im a loser and that i need to kill myself... i know this is Satan. i feel so defeated

i havent been praying. or reading the word like i should. because i feel the lord does not wanna hear from me anymore. i don't know what to do and now i am starting to wish i was never born.

The devil cometh not but to kill steal and to destroy, So why would you listen to him when God says that He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.

He also says that Ephesians 1:13-14 (KJV)
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Hebrews 13:5-6 (KJV)

So who would you say is the most trust worthy? The devil is a liar!!

Chose you this day whom you will serve!!!!
Joshua 24:15 (KJV)
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

There are four things that I recommend for us to be involved in regularly. These four help to strengthen us when things are going well and help us overcome when things are difficult or God feels far away. These four are 1) Read the Word 2) Prayer 3) Positive Christian Fellowship 4) An Accountability Partner or Group.

1) The Word: When times are tough I like to read Colossians and 1 John. They inspire me, pick me up and help me to see past my current storm, which will pass.
2) Prayer: We need to be in prayer seeking the Lord's presence and comfort, while crying out to Him in our difficult times as well as good times. He tells us to come to the throne of grace in our time of need. The door is open and He is always waiting attentively to meet with us when we come to Him. Remember that part of prayer is silently sitting at His feet listening for what He wants to say or reveal to you. It is not all about talking, but communicating.
3) Positive Christian Fellowship: We are referred to as sheep for a reason in the Bible. We need each other. There are no Lone Ranger Christians. When we feel beat up and down our natural response is to run and hide, which is the worst possible choice at that very time. We need the love, comfort and fellowship of fellow believers that are traveling the same path we are in life. Do not stop at one church if it is not right for you. Seek until you find the peace and comfort of the Holy Spirit come over you in the midst of that group.
4) Accountability: We need people close to us that we can share with. These people have to be people that we can trust and open up to. They are not "Yes" people, but ones that will ask the difficult questions and loving challenge us when we are wrong and encourage us when we have victories. One must seek God's guidance as to who one might choose as an accountability partner. One must choose wisely.

Know that the current storm you are going through will pass and you will be stronger for it. That does not lessen the pain, but there is hope even in the middle of the storm, for Jesus can and will calm the storm at the right moment if you are trusting and walking with Him.

Hope this helps.

Here is an anwer from a trusted site to your question about What is the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?

The thought you were having at that moment--it was only a thought. You do not believe it and in fact you are still seeking God.

SFC,

Are you a born again Christian?

Was there ever a time in your life that you walked in holiness (Set apart from the world, due to the work of the Holy Spirit in your life)?

How were you born again? Did you receive Christ as Lord and savior of your life?

What habitual sin have you fallen into?

How did you acquire the salvation that you think you lost?

How long ago was that?
Were you in love with God when that happened? Have you walk, experienced, freedom in Christ.

Soldier for Christ, what you had is called an intrusive thought. Almost everyone has them from time to time. They seem to appear from out of nowhere and are involuntary. An example of someone who has an intrusive thought is a woman suffering from postpartum depression who has thoughts of harming her baby and the thoughts frighten her because she is unable to stop them. Another example is someone having thoughts of suicide or death and seeing themselves in a coffin at the funeral home, etc...

I will post this full article and hope it brings you peace of mind. I also encourage you to talk to a doctor or a mental health professional to rule out depression or PTSD or another medical problem.

Question: "Are intrusive thoughts sin? Are spontaneous violent, sexual, or blasphemous thoughts sin?"

Answer: Nearly everyone, at some point or another, has been subject to an intrusive thought. These involuntary, unwanted images, phrases, or impulses are extremely common. Spontaneous thoughts of violence to children or animals, inappropriate sexual contact, and blasphemy can be extremely disturbing and even cause some to question their salvation. But are they even sin?

God is not surprised by intrusive thoughts. He knows all of our thoughts—intentional and otherwise (Psalm 139:2). He also knows the feebleness of the human mind—"The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are a mere breath," (Psalm 94:11). One of the biggest fears about intrusive blasphemous thoughts is that God will not forgive them. God knows the wicked will blaspheme (Psalm 10:4), but He is always prepared to forgive—"Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon," (Isaiah 55:7). Furthermore, God is well aware of the difference between the convictions of a wicked heart and the fleeting thought of someone who knows and follows Him (1 Chronicles 28:9). "For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).

God has given us tools to fight intrusive thoughts. Psalm 139:23-24 encourages us to submit our hearts and thoughts to God. He can determine if there is anything harmful in us that needs to be dealt with. If the thoughts truly are unbidden and spontaneous, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 explains what to do next: "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ…" Blasphemous, harmful, and deviant thoughts and inclinations are part of spiritual warfare, and we need God's help to fight them. By studying Scripture, reaffirming the truth in our minds, and Bible memorization, we can greatly diminish or even vanquish intrusive thoughts—"When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul" (Psalm 94:19).

Intrusive thoughts are not necessarily sin—even blasphemous ones. Our minds are weak and easily influenced by the world around us. But intentionally exposing ourselves to blasphemy, violence, and other evils may be sin. The more we surround ourselves with worldly things, the more the world will invade our thoughts. Instead, we should concentrate on the honorable, the true, and the pure (Philippians 4:8). If we fill ourselves with good, God will bless us: "How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers," (Psalm 1:1-3).

Sometimes intrusive thoughts can be more than spiritual. If Scripture memorization and prayer don't significantly diminish harmful thoughts and inclinations, the body's own chemistry may be at work. Intrusive thoughts are a symptom of obsessive compulsive disorder, post-partum depression, and attention deficit disorder, among others. Just as God has provided trained professionals to advice in spiritual matters, He has provided us with doctors and counselors to help with the physical. If intrusive thoughts become particularly debilitating, realize that "the way everlasting" (Psalm 139:24) may require the humility to ask for help.

SFC,

Are you a born again Christian?

How long ago was that, that you walked down an isle and gave your life to him?

Did you fall in love with God/Christ/his word when that happened?

The fact that you know that the voice that you are hearing is from Satan is a great start. Now focus on Christ and forget the *voice*. Wipe it out of your head. You can't look at Christ and Satan at the same time. You can only see one.

Get back in your Bible and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. He will provide it. The good part of your post is that you are recognizing what you are doing wrong. As you get back into the Word, you will feel the peace you are lacking at this time.

God loves you and He hasn't turned away from you. You are currently turned from Him. Repent and follow Christ. Seek His face. He won't be out of your sight for long.

Many blessings in the Name of Christ our Lord...

Be of good cheer. for Your Lord has Risen.  The enemy lies.!!!                                                                                Talk to Jesus, open up again and breathe in the Word of God.

Know that many care because of God.  Many will be praying for you because of Jesus.  We are were led by Holy Spirit to tell you, that you did not do what you thought.  HOPE LIVES, THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH.  We are THE BODY, you are part of us.  THANK YOU LORD, I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU LORD.

Know that you are Loved.

In His Love Chris

You are in doubt, and it does happen. God loves you always, and He is there for you. I stopped reading the Bible for a while, I don't know why, but now am reading the book of John. I have a pocket book called Food For Your Soul, and have been studying. The book of John teaches about Jesus, and how we can live a better christian life. You, Soldierforchrist, are very special, and God has a plan for you. He wants you to live, and does want to hear from you! You were born for a purpose, and God will show you the way. Please reply back to me. Your sister in Christ, RuthXO

It is God that worketh in you, both to will and to do of His good pleasure,

So if you still have a desire to serve Him, guess what? It is Him in you wanting you to serve Him.

Otherwise, if you were cut off from Him, it would be a spiritual death, seperation from God.

Rom. 4 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute sin.

His mercy is new every morning.

Just receive it by faith, and Thank Him for His exceeding great and precious promisses, that says,  in Heb.13:5-6, I will  never leave you nor forsake you. so you can boldly say , The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man can do unto me.

God can not lie, the devil is a liar and the father of it. So it is not God telling you that you can't come back to Him, but the devil. Isa. 55 says, "let the wicked forsake his ways, and the unrigheteous man his thoughts and let him return unto the Lord, for He will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. "

Just submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.
