All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Reading some disturbing news this morning reveals the laws are so tight on the innocent it can make us feel guilty even though the innocent is cleared by the law. The saddest part is the young adult who are innocent can't see or analyze potential problems regarding the laws that are placed upon the innocent. Don't be gullible my friends be alert to what is really happening in our society. You can't smack a child for kicking a tantrum. You can't make a child smile without being accused of a child preditor. You can't give a young person guidance without being accused of some suspicious act. Should we lay down and not be ourselves? Yes, I feel captive under these laws.

I understand there is laws that need to be in place to protect us from a sick and perverse world. It is certainly a must to hold our hands up, and if we can't hold our hands up, we then need help from others that know God through His Holy Spirit.

You may read into this that we as a family have been accused of much devilish acts that has been proved to be false. You are so right. My heart cries because I can't change what people think of me now, in the past nor in the future. But what can be changed is how we treat each other and be along side each other in prayer, godly encouragement, and brothers and sisters in Christ without Judgment. This will hold my hands up during this subtle time of satan coming in the back door to destroy families.

What do you think?

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say. Here is what I've gotten from this & correct me where I'm wrong. It appears you are talking about laws that are set up for the innocent children. Then, it appears that you are saying you have been accused of some type of child pedophile or along those lines. Am I right or am I way off the mark?

Hang onto the truth & the Lord will see you through it. The laws are to protect the younger generation. I have 3 young children so I stand strong on these laws that protect my children. Churches need to protect themselves against the accusations by making sure anything they do cannot be questioned. For instance, never be alone with a small child - esp a man. They are more likely to cause some sort of harm to the children then the woman. A man should always have his wife or another adult with them when dealing with children as well as the youth. There are many steps you can take to avoid these type of accusations. Maybe you can help them develop these rules since you have now been put in this situation. Cameras is always a good idea tho I know not all churches can afford them. However, to protect the children, youth as well as the adults, it's a good idea. We don't have to go around & hold our hands up. We just abide by the laws presented, always have a credible witness with us & always have a reason why. The laws are placed to keep our children & young people safe not to convict the innocent.

Now, I'm still not exactly sure what you're saying here talking about the 25-30 year old being innocent. I see the 17-0 year old as being innocent & need protection by whatever means is possible. I'm not sure what u mean by Satan using laws to attack the family either. Maybe you can tell me the exact situation & what is going on & then maybe I can understand it a bit better.

Philip,

Unfortunately this is nothing new. Satan has always tried to pull down humans with from a worldly point of view has succeeded. We can see the account in the Garden of Eden where Satan (the serpent) tempted Eve and Adam and Eve gave in. In this account we see that they in fact became guilty because of giving in to the temptation. We know that Joseph was an innocent man and yet God let this happen to him and God used it for good in the end. We know that Jesus was innocent and yet was falsely accused and sent to the cross and there shed His blood for man. We know that all of the apostles lost their lives (except John who lost his liberty and was exiled to Patmos) and were innocent. In the book Foxes Book of Martyrs we find that many over the centuries have lost everything this world has to offer for the cause of Christ.

What have we learned? What appears to be bad things will happen to the children of God in this life on this planet. Our current circumstances and our fear of what could happen cannot dictate our actions. This does not mean that we act foolishly, but that we cannot shrink back from obeying God, but rather march forward in Christ knowing we are marked by the enemy and knowing that our Father in heaven is sovereign ... Satan has limited power, he is a created being with his end already recorded.

Philip, you say that kids are making use of the law by falsely accusing Christian leaders.  What about the ones who aren't falsely accusing?  The law is meant to protect.  Lord knows it doesn't always work the way it should by a long shot.  Innocent people have spent half their lives in jail before it was discovered they actually were innocent.

We have leaders in the church today who are addicted to pornography, who divorce their wives for younger women, who commit adultery.  Some of them have actually confessed to these things.  Their accusers didn't make them confess, they simply got caught.  And sometimes God has convicted them of these sins and they had to come clean to the congregation.  And in all honesty, some of today's Christian leaders aren't even Christian, but they use the pulpit to line their pockets.
