All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I was reading something about a week ago concerning God and suicide. How can someone ask God to forgive them before they commit suicide? It just doesn't seem like something God can do, because life itselfis a Blessing, so for one to take into themselves to end this seems as though it would be an abomination before God. Anyone got any ideas and closure on this subject?

Yes Carla, absolutely! If I had to know everything...well..hahaha, I'd be in pretty big trouble :D

It's the ongoing mission to wisdom that paves our way to fulfillment.

Thank you, and you are a great blessing as well.

Blessings,
Glenda
There are, IMO, two questions that have to be pondered in order to reach a Biblical conclusion.

1) Can a born-again believer commit suicide?
2) Can a born-again believer lose their salvation?

This topic is not about who is and who is not saved. We may be able to see fruit bearing in one's life, but only God knows the heart.

Lord Bless,

Yes, I would like to say that I believe you have not lost anyone to suicide..... or you wouldn't feel that way. My dad was radically saved many many years ago, but, Satan found a way to trip him up, and he lived in a backslidden condition, never gaining victory over the temptations of the flesh, however, I believe with all my heart that I will see my dad, when my time on this planet is up. I believe that his prayers, for his family, are the reason that I am serving the Lord today.
