Ghosts.....are they real
Not to sound crazy but since I was little I have been able to feel/sense when someone was there that shouldn't be. My whole family has. When I walk in to a house I can sense if there is someone or something there and whether it is good or bad. Recently my husband and I became caretakers at our church and are being followed around when we are there. My husband feels it, I feel it and my son can feel it. My husband always thought I was crazy until after his car accident last year, his father came to our house and stayed there for 8 months. I think he was watching over Cory.
I have been told be other Christians that there is no such thing, there cant be. Then what is it?

It is good that you are here inquiring into the truth. I'm happy to see that David has already pointed you into the direction of our membership agreement which we believe in and adhere to. I see that there is alot to discuss with your post here, David addressed some of it also, but for now I just want clarification on this point that you made:
Bible being a brief guide to Christ cant solve all the problems and happenings throughout the ages. Then it has to exceed all encyclopedias. But if we approach the living Christ, he can explain and guide in all problems.
Would you mind please saying more about this?

I've been really wondering about this as well and read through this with interest. I've experienced "evil" several times since becoming a Christian. The entire week before I was baptized I was literally going through hell. I was suicidal and couldn't sleep. I couldn't even get my butt out of bed. Once I was baptized I felt like a weight has been lifted.
HOWEVER... Certain things have been happening to both myself and my fiancee and it's scaring both of us to bits. It's always been stated that Good (GOD) and Evil (SATAN) are always going to be fighting. And they will always be trying to take over power over someone. Thats how I view it. I'm not here to promote anything but my views are very similar to those on Paranormal State. Do I believe in spirits? Yes. Do I believe in demons? Very much so. But I also know there are just some spirits who hang around for no real reason. I don't know this from my own personal in my life experience but rather in my sister's life. I can't really explain it but I have seen her change before me in seconds not in a bad way. It's pretty remarkable. I'm aware of what some Christians will probably say about me for saying I believe in all of this but frankly that's just because of my own personal experiences.

ghots do not exist,evil spirits do exist though ,please dont plat with fire,or entice these "ghosts"there are only evil spirits and good spirits,which are fallen angels ,or angels of God,when people die they dont become ghosts,they are in a dead state till christ comes

Most Christians do not believe in a state of "soul sleep" for Christians after they die. Most believe the Bible teaches that we go immediately to be with the Lord in a conscious state.
Paul says the following:
2CO 5:6 Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. 7 We live by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

So plainly taught in scriptures"the dead know nothing",You gace me a verse , i will give all of you verses to prove that not by me but buy what the Lord's words say! It is not your grandmother ,it is a fallen angels decieving you ,and the more and more you entice it ,you will keep being decieved :("to seducing spirits,and doctrines of devils".
"the working of satan with all power and signs and lying wonder,and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness" 2 Thessalonians 2:9,10.The apostle John,described the miracle-working power "He doeth great wonders,so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,and decieveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do" Rev.13:13-14.The apostle James said on spiritualism"decendeth not from above,but is earthly,sensual,devilish"James 3:15.He comes as angel of light,he excitesthe imagination, he beguiles men just as he did with Eve. God forbids communication with the dead "spirits". Read Hebrews,there was a class of people who claimed ,as spiritualists today,to hold communication with the dead.But the Bible declares them "the spirits od devils" read Numbers 25:1-3, Psalm 10:28, 1st Corinthians 10:20 , Rev 16:14.It an abonition to the Lord, and forbidden under penalty of death.Leviticus 19:31;20:27, also read "Woe unto them that call evil good,and good evil:that put darkness for light,and light for darkness: Isaiah 5:20, All who indulge is a known sin,are inviting the temptaions of Satan" When they shall say unto you,Seek unto them that have familiar spirits,and unto wizards that peep,and that mutter:should not a people seek unto their God?for living to the dead?To the law and to the testimony:if they speak not according to this word,it is because there is no light in them"Isaiah 8:19,20, " Because they recieved not the love of truth,that they might be saved"therefore "God shall send them strong delusion,that they should believe a lie" 2 Thessalonians 2 10-11.

"Judgment also will I lay to the line,and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies ,and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through , then ye shall be trodden down by it" Isaiah 28:17,18
Please read these verse carefully and question yourself ,and ask God to make your blind eyes see ,and out into your heart.

Well thats for most christians but not I sir, People trust in ONLY GODS WORD,not of man, search and search and you will find the truth for our Saviour , The devil too used the scripture to tempt Jesus,but Jesus said "IT IS WRITTEN" My God AMEN ,for His Word ,fall back on that ,Jesus will bless you if you seek with all your heart to find him,he surely has with me !

Ooh, ugh is right, Shaki! I think the doctrine of "soul sleep" is "ugh"! I've studied the arguments on both sides of that debate for 40 years, and I must say that I haven't seen either side push back the other side, but I don't like the doctrine of "soul sleep". One of the reasons that I don't like it is that it seems to be almost inevitably joined with a feverish and legalistic sabatarianism, and legalistic sabatarianism seems to almost inevitably lead to a rejection of Salvation by Grace.

First I would encourage you to tone down and learn to discuss things civily.
Second, I did not say one word regarding the idea of ghosts.
Third, I have studied the Word of God and am fully convinced that we go to be with the Lord consciously after death.
Note that this is not a new topic of discussion on AAG. There are several forums dedicated to this subject. You may want to go there and read through those discussions regrarding God's Word and properly understanding it.
If you wish to engage in this conversation further let me know, but it will be a discussion, not a rant.

After people die, I think they go to heaven or hell, they don't stay here, BUT what we do have here are Satan's angels and they are here on the Earth and in hell and a pastor told me they can go to heaven too according to Job. So I think you have Satan's angels trying to deceive you into thinking it is your family or whatever. Satan's angels KNOW everyone who lived on Earth, and they know how to mimic (or something) your family.
