Come and See: I will be hosting a Hangout gathering Thursday evening.

Greetings all,

As we move forward with the first phases of the All About Hangouts here on TheNET I would like to invite you to join in on our first meeting open to our AAG family here on TheNET. These gatherings are limited to 10 people and so if you would like to join in you will need to RSVP. You will need to have an active Google+ account. I would also need to add you to my circle on Google+ and thus would need your name on Google+ or the email address you used to sign up for Google+. If you are interested email me and I can give you more detail and respond to a possible question or two that you might have regarding All About Hangouts.

When: Thursday

Time: 9 PM EST

Length: 30 minutes

What: Informal gathering for simple Q&A and testing the system out, giving you a chance to participate to see what it is all about.

Where: You will need to be logged in to Google+ and I will send you an invite.

Tech stuff to participate: Google+ account, microphone, webcam (preferred, but optional).

To RSVP simply send me an email through TheNET and I will reserve your spot.

Greetings all,

We would like to take a step forward and actually do an HOA tonight that will be recorded, but set as unlisted. This means that only those with whom we share the link with will be able to view it. I will not begin recording until we all are gathered and give you a moment to ask any questions regarding this in case you decide to opt out. I would encourage you to still participate as this is one of the tools (the ability to record and share) we are excited about using in the days ahead.

Again, we have space for a few more if you would like to come and check it out. Just drop me a line stating that you want to participate. Also, feel free to drop me a line in advance if you have any questions. I will do my best to answer them.
