You are always in my heart and prayers too even when I am not around here. The unlimited net with low price I got is often goes so slow which sometimes get me on my nerve or want to give it up. But through the net only I can get in touch with you all. Just pray that my Lord will keep me in touch always through the internet. I love you and God bless you always.

Thank you for the encouraging words on my page mum. Last night i was listening to the preaching of Joel Osteen on TBN and he was ministering about faith in God. And he gave examples of how people have overcome all kinds of situations because they had faith.

Now im on a process of getting police clearance from all the countries i have lived in. Yesterday i went to the nearest police station and met a not so pleasant lady who refused to help me because her time was over and she had other things to do (typical service delivery problems we have in this country). I went home a disappointed person but listened to the ministry both yesterday and this morning and i remember praying as i was walking into the same police station this morning for this service.

God works in miraculous ways. At the reception counter was one of our neighbours at home (she is a police woman) and she helped be go through the entire process, picked a friendly person to help me at police clearance department and took my finger prints herself. I never had to encounter the lady from yesterday. What a testimony on what God does if you have faith in Him and if you make Him the centre of your life. I was able to get my three sets of fingerprints. In addition i was adviced on the best method to ensure speedy service from headquarters in Pretoria.

And i remember getting out of the police station, thanking God for that but also feeling amazed by His wonderful ways and responses to me.

I will continue praying and believing. Im still reading the story of Joseph and how amazing His journey was

Lots of love and God Bless

Hi mum. Im so thankful for all the encouraging words you have been sending me. I have not been accessing the site for a while now only on my phone where i have been reading all your emails via my email account. School and work have been overwhelming but now i feel better.

May i please request for prayer with my relationship with God. I realized that when i was feeling overwhelmed so much, instead of calling on Him, i instead relied on my own will. I dont want to be that kind of a child and i know i can do better than this.

Last night i was reading about the story of Joseph upto where he was put in jail and how he translated the dream of the cupbearer and baker. I saw how God was always with him and how He had faith that God was with Him all the way.

I want to be able to emulate Joseph and be able to make God the centre of my life. God Bless you

Lots of love

SANCTIFICATION AND HOLINESS:

I AM TAKING THE LIBERTY OF SENDING YOU SOMETHING I HAVE WORKED ON AFTER "HOW I DEPICT JESUS CHRIST"... I IMPLORE YOU TO CORRECT ME IF YOU WISH AS I AM A "NOVICE" AND I KNOW THAT I CAN LEARN A LOT FROM FRIENDS:

SANCTIFICATION AND HOLINESS

Many times during my seventy-two years upon this earth, I've heard the question, sometimes asked cynically: "If God is so good, why does He let bad things happen, to those He professes to love?" In order to understand that question, let's travel back in time to Gen 3:16-19, and listen in as God addressed the disobedience of Adam and Eve:

"To the woman He said: "I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you."

Then to Adam He said, "Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it': "Cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field.

In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.""

No, God doesn't promise a Christian a pain-free, trouble-free, disease-free, worry-free life, and after reaching a ripe old age, you will just quietly retire to your grave, to await "Jesus' returning"(1 Thes 4:16) for you. If that were the case, then He surely let the great individuals in Scripture down. Read your Bible, and observe how most of them suffered; are you better than them? Remember, everyone Jesus healed, eventually died, and so will you!

Ever since the fall of man, life has always included hardship. Notwithstanding, even though trials are painful, understanding your Heavenly Father's purpose, can bring you joy and belief. However, in order to comprehend that fact, you must understand that God makes it very clear in His Word, that your suffering is meaningful.

Primarily, your Father is molding you, as His "child,"(John 1:2) to be like Him. Remember that "all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Therefore, "for whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren."(Rom 8:28,29)
You will recall that I pointed out in my comment on HOW I DEPICT JESUS that God is sometimes tough with us because He loves us. He is not being "abusive". I compared this to an athlete and his trainer... (doing what is good for success)... and we are running a race (as Paul described it)Phil. 3:12-21
12 Not that I have already attained this – that is, I have not already been perfected – but I strive to lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus also laid hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have attained this. Instead I am single-minded: Forgetting the things that are behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead, 14 with this goal in mind, I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Therefore let those of us who are "perfect" embrace this point of view. If you think otherwise, God will reveal to you the error of...

Gary Player, one of the most successful international golfers of all time, lost count of how many times someone said to him, "I'd give anything if I could hit a golf ball like you." After one particularly grueling day on the links, Player couldn't resist correcting the person, "No, you wouldn't. You'd give anything to hit a golf ball like me, if it were easy." Player then listed the things one would have to do in order to achieve his level of play: "You've got to get up at five o'clock in the morning, go out and hit a thousand golf balls, walk up to the club house to put a bandage on your hand where it started bleeding, then go and hit another thousand golf balls. That's what it takes to hit a golf ball like me."

When anyone is newly saved, they still require some "finishing touches (smoothing the rough edges)." That's why, in 1 Tim 3:6, God's Word addresses those desiring to go into the ministry, and cautions that they can't be an amateur, " lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil."

The journey ahead, called sanctification, involves the process of becoming holy, and few things build character like sorrow and pain. Unfortunately, people rarely mature during pleasant times. Instead, pain brings impurities to the surface and forces people to see the reality of their lives.

You may have heard someone stand up in church and proclaim, "I'm saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Spirit." I regret if I am again treading on toes ...this is not the intention but what we fail to understand is that sanctification is a process, and the moment one stands up and broadcasts that they've met all God's standards, they prove that they haven't! They're proving that they're an "amateur!" (Please do forgive me if I am wrong - as this is my humble opinion and I stand to be corrected)...Yes, one definition of "sanctification" is "being set aside for a particular purpose," but it's God who does the "setting aside,"(making holy) not you reaching a point of perfection! I am so cautious about proclaiming my "holiness" as I know myself and I "search my heart" and every day find imperfection and sin! I am following Paul's advice and I am striving for perfection... And I think that this will be a "forever" effort.

Another reason our Father allows trials, is to test our faith, as His "child." Bear in mind that God knows in advance, how you'll respond to your various trials, so He doesn't need that information for Himself, but you do! Why? Because faith that has been tested, is much more reliable and stronger, than untested faith!

Also, your Heavenly Father allows hardship in your life, in order to reveal His character, love, and power. And it's during life's storms, that people who cling to their heavenly Father, will find Him trustworthy and real. And the next time a difficulty arises, we will remember His faithfulness during their previous trial, and will understand that we have full security in God.
I realize that there's a good possibility that you don't want to suffer, nevertheless, as you experience sorrow, it will mature you as a believer. Yes, you may learn a lot from books, and other people's experiences, nonetheless, most of my growth has occurred during trials. So, when problems come your way, and sorrow seems ready to destroy you, thank your Father, for His purpose in your suffering.

Hebrews 12:6 >>

"For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he punishes every son he accepts."

I give below a small explanation that I have found useful in explaining HOLY and SANCTIFIED:

"Set apart - a chosen vessel to the King of kings,

Set apart - for ever severed from all earthly things.

Set apart - to bear the fragrance of His blessed name

And with Him to share the sufferings of a Cross of shame.

Set apart - with Him to suffer o'er a world undone,

And to stand in fiercest conflict 'till the fight be won.

Set apart - an earthen vessel, empty, weak and small,

Yet the treasure that it beareth: Christ the Lord of all!"

(Freda Hanbury Allen)

I send this with fond love and many blessings to all my Christ Following friends...

please i want to share this message with you:
THE NARROW GATE
There are two ways in this world and the age to come. [(That are the will of God and our will, (HEAVEN and HELL)] .The narrow gate is the will of God and the wide gate is our will. In fact, God has control of everything in heaven and on earth and under earth but there is something special that He has given us to make our choice which is called WILL. When we read the book of Genesis 2:15 to 17, the Lord gave them (man and his wife) only one commandment that, they are free to eat everything in the Garden except the fruit of life and evil. Adam and the wife could not abide by this commandment because the Lord God gave them free will to choose good and evil. They made their choice and they have to die. The same way today, God has given us only one Man (JESUS CHRIST) that if we believe in him, we will be saved and not perish like our father Adam and the wife Eve. You can read that in the book of Romans 10:9 “If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raise him from the death, you will be saved”.
To be part of the kingdom of God, one needs to call upon the Lord and do his will. In the above verse, the word “saved” meaning being regenerated (the latter is by the birth of divide life). To call upon the Lord suffices for us to be saved (Roman 10:13) but to be part of the kingdom of God we also need to do the will of God. Hence not everyone who says Lord, lord, will enter the kingdom of God but those who called upon the Lord and do His will. It is very important to enter through the narrow gate, which lead to everlasting life.Matthew7:13 say” Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction and many enter through it “One may ask, am i on the narrow road or the broad road? How will you know that you are on the narrow road? The bible is the measure which you must use to examine your spiritual life. Search the will of God in all your ways. Roman 12:2 “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world ,but be transformed by renewing your mind .Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is ___his good , pleasing and perfect will”.
When we are born again, we need to do the will of God because in heaven only the will of God will be done. So called Christian today teaches that if you called upon Christ you will be surely be part of the kingdom of God without doing the will of God but let me assure you that Christ needs those who will do the will of God in His kingdom. Let us read Matthew 7:21”Not everyone that says to me Lord, lord, will enter into the kingdom of God, but only he who does the will of my father who is in heaven” It is good to call upon the Lord but we must also do His will in other to enter into the kingdom of God. We have to be in the track of the Lord Jesus.
A true Christian always faces problems and the journey is not easy. Apostle Paul said that nothing that can separate him from the lord. Remember we are always the winners because we are on the wining side. Be strong and courageous and walk through the narrow gate till you receive the crown of salvation. Hold firm to prayer, Holiness and evangelism. The first disciples hold firmly to prayer, evangelism and Holiness to receive the crown of salvation. Jesus want all of us to be saved but it will be painful that “day” He will say to some that He does not know them (Matt 25:12).

Hi Ranona, I am so sorry for the horrible incident in your home town where you grew up.
We had a horrible incident here last week, 4 blacks murdered some one took off, pulled people out of a car and stoled it. and were finally they caught them when police set up the thing to blow their tires. Before it was all done a police dog was killed and an officer wounded.
My daughter works at a hotel up on the ski mountain near my home and her boy friend works as a security gaurd at the same place.
They were coming home and found the people that were pulled out of their car injured beside the road, and they called the police to get the plates of the stolden car. My daughter was all upset by the whole thing. All we can do is pray that god keeps our families safe in this world that is so full of evil.
Ramona that is why God needs people like yourself who are encouraging others all the time to be strong in the Lord and live close to Him. I talk to people every day who are suffering because of this world of evil. I am glad that we have overcome the world through Jesus. I am glad that He understand what we are up against, because He lived among us. We have a compassionate God that will neverleave us. The scripture in the greek is I will never, never leave you and I will never ever forsake you.
In the love of Jesus.

Hi Ramona, It has been beautiful weather here this last week in Vermont. Fall is on its way and at night there is a little chill. It is almost beath taking when the leaves turn. I love the four seasons we have, but it seems like winter loves to steal some of fall and spring. But I love it. When I was a truck driver delivering propane gas I would drive through the mountains and would praise God and even sing to Him. For all those 20 years I still am amazed at His creation. Our God is much greater than our minds can conceave. When we finally see him what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the victory as the old song say.
In the love of Jesus.
