“How can … you accept praise from one another yet do not seek the glory that comes from God?” Jn.5:44

Reflection:

   Ambition is one of the greatest obstacles to faith. How can persons with absolute faithfulness and the brave spirit of a confessor be on God’s side if they are still concerned with the opinions of others and seek human praise?

   From whom do I see praise – God or human beings?

Prayer:

   “My Lord and my God, make me abhor the spirit of worldliness. Let me aspire to live according only to what is pleasing to You. In the name of Jesus I pray. AMEN!!!
