Hello Dear Patti,

I read your post about your husband. I am here to encourage you sister...stay Strong in the Lord. I know what you are going through. I have been a believer since Oct '06----the Lord touched my life so profoundly and so instantly, I am forever so in Love with Jesus I can never turn back. My husband is a self-proclaimed athiest. I feel discouraged at times, especially when I do not take the time to spend with the Lord, in prayer, or reading His Word.

I read that you suggested to your husband that he read the bible, and see how he interprets it..but the thing is, if the Holy Spirit has not done a work in his heart, he cannot read the bible and really understand it...the truth and power of it has not yet been revealed to him by Jesus Christ. Your husband must be in a place where he is ready to receive it.

God's Word will not return void....it will accomplish all that God wants it to accomplish--but it is all in His timing, not ours. God is patiently working on me to teach me patience... :)


I have posted a discussion in the Womens Group Forum about 'Unsaved Husbands'. I also have a prayer for the 'unsaved' in one of my blogs, please feel free to add your husbands name to it.

My prayer for you is that you will find tremendous fellowship here which will help you to grow in the Lord. Jesus's beauty and Love is so Awesome..I don't have to tell you that I'm sure :)
