God acted for Christy Gabriel (she came back safely to Jakarta, yesterday-halellujah!). We can count on Him always...in whatever storms life may throw our way.
Why dear, did you see it fit to break my heart alongside yours, with that 'Ameno' power-point slide show? What can two broken hearts amount to Maureen? Debris, shreds, halves...or just heartlets? I weep with you for the children of this endangered generation....I sure do hu! hu! hu!!
Now let us start this on the right footing: I don't write this here because you told me you like the comments I leave you...I write because you DESERVE each and every word for you are a seasoned daughter of the Most High and you make Him proud.
Yes Maureen, you heard me correctly: you make Him proud...even in the many trials and weaknesses you decry...I only see a woman with a heart aflame for Christ...unquelled by many and ranked amongst icons.
I remember I once told you I delight in some of the spiritual aridities I inevitably cross from time to time...and I could sense that you were not properly convinced that this was in order...mmm. Well, I can't point out Phillipians 4:4 to you for everyone knows that...but I give it to you today for day-long meditation! I hope it ignites the spark of joy already in your heart for...rejoice, we handle all together!!

I read your blog about Lakeland Revival with Todd Bentley. I have flip-flopped on this issue several times due to outspoken comments by some who have since left AAG, and certain good affiliations Todd Bentley had with Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, before going to Lakeland, also beliefs of our pastor.
I am not convinced either way about it at this point in time. It will take more wisdom and discernment to decide about what is happening in Lakeland. I am taking the stand that even though the activity may appear to be demonic, it is possibly not. Sometimes the things we see with our eyes and hear with our ears are the things that deceive us. I may be wrong, but I do know that no-one has all the answers, and I do want to leave room for the Holy Spirit to minister however HE decides to do it. I have read all the pro's and conn's and can not condemn Todd Bentley. That is not my job. If he is shown to be in the wrong God will deal with him. My job is to worship the LORD in all I do, and love my neighbour as myself.
I am delighted to read your testimony and hear about your missionary heart. You are a real blessing to those kids. I thank you again for visiting my page, and I hope we can come together in agreement on the things that matter most.

The cold is real - but we infrequently have snow. Can only remember three or four times... But usually our winters are cold but this has been an exceptionally colder winter than normal (or perhaps we are just growing older???) No, everyone is complaining and lots of influenze but praise God we are fit! We drink a lot of vitamins to build up our immune system and we take a 'flu injection every March.
Will keep praying for your Mom - she is in good hands - given her to the Lord!

Hi there...Dios les bendiga hermanos en Cristo. I live in a small town outside of Mazatlan, one third of the way down on the Pacific coast. But we minister in Chiapas on a regular basis, and I will be setting up an ofice there in the fall. We will be kciking off a toy and donation drive in ASugust for our Christmas program in Chiapas that will be called, Blessings: Love and Forgiveness. Since the drive will, be open to all citizens we'll be giving toys not just to thechildren of the persecuted pastors and leaders but also to the children of the Acteal Zapatistas to promote the love and forgiveness that Jesus came to give to all of us, who seek Him. Then a number of other Voice of the Martyrs projects. I was glad to see what you wrote in the group...all true, and good insight. Most people have no idea of what's going on in Latin America...it's a time bomb waiting to go off from neglect and arrogance. Hope to get to know you all better. We are also concerned about the trafficking of children and young women here in Mexico.

I haven't heard anything about my test at fletcher Allen yet.
