FOR I, THE LORD YOUR GOD, WILL HOLD YOUR RIGHT
HAND, SAYING TO YOU, "FEAR NOT, I WILL HELP
YOU."
( ISAIAH 41:13 *NKJV )
We often face troubling times in our lives that
cause us to worry, and lose sleep. As a child of God you
have Him at your side, holding your hand, and guiding
your pathway through those times. For, THE LORD IS
GOOD, A STRONGHOLD IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE;
AND HE KNOWS THOSE WHO TRUST IN HIM.
( NAHUM 1:7 )
He will never abandon HIS Children, throughout
their entire lives. For He is always with us no matter
what we may face, as He further promised: WHEN YOU
PASS THROUGH THE WATERS, I WILL BE WITH YOU;
AND THROUGH THE RIVERS,* THEY SHALL NOT
OVERFLOW YOU. WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THE
FIRE,* YOU SHALL NOT BE BURNED, NOR SHALL
THE FLAME SCORCH YOU. ( ISAIAH 43:2 )
[*Rivers and *Fire in the verse represent difficulties in our
lives]
Therefore, FEAR NOT, FOR I AM WITH YOU; BE NOT
DISMAYED, FOR I AM YOUR GOD. I WILL
STRENGTHEN YOU, YES, I WILL HELP YOU, I WILL
UPHOLD YOU WITH MY RIGHTEOUS RIGHT HAND.
( ISAIAH 41:10 )
So the next time you face troubling times, do as Jesus
said: "LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED; YOU
BELIEVE IN GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME." (JOHN 14:1)
Then WHEN YOU LIE DOWN, YOU WILL NOT BE
AFRAID; YES, YOU WILL LIE DOWN AND YOUR
SLEEP WILL BE SWEET. ( PROVERBS 3:24 )
Now have a great day walking hand and hand with God,
friend! Amen.

Never, ever give up sweetheart. The very thing that you have to say may be the very thing that helps pull someone up out of the gutter. Always remember to trust in the Lord and always let Him know how much you care. Even if you don't feel you're ready to publish your book, writing down your thoughts always is a good way to vent. Writing comforts not only the reader, but the writer as well. God bless you. I love you with the love of the LORD.

Amen to what you said about being a Christian and not getting caught up in "Religion" I have an audio Bible that I have been listening to on my commute to work. And I compare that with my other Bible at home; which are each different versions. But they really say the same thing, just the words are changed up somewhat; but the meaning is the same. And this is what I will continue to learn and follow. Love in Christ your friend Mandy

Dear Friend: I think we feel alike. I was raised in the Lutheran Church. However we were not real involved. But I was plainly taught that Jesus died for our sins; as you where. I married Catholic. I don't believe in all of the Catholic ways. But during everyday Sunday services they worship Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit and God the Father. Which is what I believe in according to the Bible. We attend the Catholic church because my husband would not budge about going to another Church. But when my daughters have questions, I answer them from what I have learned from scripture or I look it up from the Bible. Because it can be frustrating. I just did not want to create strife in my family over what Church we attended. It is difficult at times. And I don't know every thing about the Catholic church. But one Big thing I tell my girls is: You do not have to sit in a confessional to tell your sins to a priest. Pray them up to the Lord and truly turn from them and you will be forgiven. And if you slip and make the same mistake (as with fighting with sis) ask God to help you and keep praying about it. I believe in the Bible, the Lord, Lamb of God that takes away our sins. The Holy Spirit that guides us. And our Heavenly Father. I just don't get caught up in Religion. I think it gets in the way. And it divides people. I love your post because I felt confused about it for a long time. Your friend in Christ Jesus. Mandy

Stay strong in your faith and look to the word of God for encouragement. I know how hard it can be to be surrounded by skeptics. Especially "smart people". Take comfort in the bible passages that explain that those that imagine themselves to be smart in the "world" are having the truth intentionally hidden from them. They (the smart people) would consider us "fools" but in fact that is what they are. Take pity on them. Do not believe yourself to be "above them" in any way. You have the insight. Keep strong to what you know (through prayer and reading scripture) is true. If the skeptics around you come to change in their view, that is a conversion by God. You may have some role in planting the seed, but don't get caught-up in trying to "convert" others. Remember that the process of conversion is a work of God and we can't muscle the process faster than his perfect intended timing. He is good and perfect all the time. God bless.
