If you woke up this morning
with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won't survive the week.

If you have never experienced
the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or
the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.

If you can attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare, especially in this World
today.

If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them
or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can
offer God's healing touch.

If you can read this message,
you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world
that cannot read anything at all.

You are so blessed in ways
you may never even know.

FOR I, THE LORD YOUR GOD, WILL HOLD YOUR RIGHT
HAND, SAYING TO YOU, "FEAR NOT, I WILL HELP
YOU."
( ISAIAH 41:13 *NKJV )

We often face troubling times in our lives that
cause us to worry, and lose sleep. As a child of God you
have Him at your side, holding your hand, and guiding
your pathway through those times. For, THE LORD IS
GOOD, A STRONGHOLD IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE;
AND HE KNOWS THOSE WHO TRUST IN HIM.
( NAHUM 1:7 )

He will never abandon HIS Children, throughout
their entire lives. For He is always with us no matter
what we may face, as He further promised: WHEN YOU
PASS THROUGH THE WATERS, I WILL BE WITH YOU;
AND THROUGH THE RIVERS,* THEY SHALL NOT
OVERFLOW YOU. WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THE
FIRE,* YOU SHALL NOT BE BURNED, NOR SHALL
THE FLAME SCORCH YOU. ( ISAIAH 43:2 )
[*Rivers and *Fire in the verse represent difficulties in our
lives]

Therefore, FEAR NOT, FOR I AM WITH YOU; BE NOT
DISMAYED, FOR I AM YOUR GOD. I WILL
STRENGTHEN YOU, YES, I WILL HELP YOU, I WILL
UPHOLD YOU WITH MY RIGHTEOUS RIGHT HAND.
( ISAIAH 41:10 )

So the next time you face troubling times, do as Jesus
said: "LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED; YOU
BELIEVE IN GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME." (JOHN 14:1)
Then WHEN YOU LIE DOWN, YOU WILL NOT BE
AFRAID; YES, YOU WILL LIE DOWN AND YOUR
SLEEP WILL BE SWEET. ( PROVERBS 3:24 )

Now have a great day walking hand and hand with God,
friend! Amen.

How are you sister?? I hope you are doing alright. I think of you here and there and wonder what you are up to and what the Lord is doing in your life. God always has something around the bend for people doesnt He? He has really brought me through some struggles lately and that is a great relief. Its taken time, and I can see that those issues are still there a little, but not as bad. So, another "Praise God" for me!!! So how is your daughters? What are they up to? Anyway, I better go. I hear a baby crying. Love you!!

Hello Helen!
Its been a while since I seen you online. Welcome back!
How are you doing? I was wondering how your new life in Jesus was going? I think how you became a Christian is really a marvelous story. Praise God that he drew you unto Him in such a loving way. How are the Monday nights going? I go to a bible study/book study on Tuesday nights while my husband watches the kids. Im taking that "Breaking Free" study that I told you about, by: Beth Moore. Its incredible, and I still really highly recommend that you get it. Especially if you are a new Christian. Well, Helen, I hope you are doing good and your lovely daughters!
God Bless,
Paige

Hello Helen!!!
God Bless you sister!!
What have you been up to! I havent seen you much or I havent got any messages from you. R u ok? I see that u ru online now, I just wanted to say hello, and that I have been thinking about you alot.
So how has your walk been with the Lord? I would highly suggest the book/workbook study called "Breaking Free" by Beth Moore. It is soo awesome because explains all that a bondage can be, all that it is doing, and what it will do. It talks about God love grace and mercy even when we havent been that great. Beth Moore also has other numerous studies like "Out of The Pit" and "Believeing God". If I were you, Id check out a local church or some home groups to see if they are in need to help in starting up a group or having a group in your home or whatever.
These books by Beth Moore are awesome and I highly recommend them to someone like me who struggles in the area of depression sometimes.
Well, it was a real pleasure meeting you! and I hope you have a blessed time here!!

Hello Hellen!

Your story is surely a very moving one...with a happy ending. Me-thinks that the Lord is going to use you in a mighty way because from what you relate, His encounter with you goes slightly above the ordinary. Trust me that you are going to move in leaps and bounds in the love of Jehova. Only remember, move closer to God...and He will move closer to you. Staying and growing in salvation is something we must decidedly work on. This is what my spiritual mum Nienie always reminds me! I hope to stay in constant touch with you so that we can celebrate God's emancipation together with other friends in this blessed net family. Your friend from Kenya-Pst. Bernhard

Hello Helen!!!
Welcome! Im Paige, a moderator here on TheNet, and Im soo glad you decided to join us!
We are a caring, loving, community of believers who are here to encourage and support one another as we walk daily with God. I came across TheNet last August, and it has been the greatest way to connect with other believers. Especially believers from all over the world!!! Its really neat.

Be sure to check out The Links for growth for tips on how you can grow more in the Lord. Also The Genesis Group is a good group to start up in to get fed the Word. Especially if you are a fairly new Christian.

I also want to invite you over to The Womens group where you can get to know and draw closer to other women who are daily walking with Jesus. I found it to be a safe haven for me to be able to get prayer, and share my struggles. I have met the dearest sisters here and I will cherish our friendships forever. Check out the Chat box too in that group. We should chat sometime.
I have read more about you , and all I can say is Praise God!!! I was saved in 2002, and I tell you, that God really turned my life aroud dramatically. I mean, I am not the same person at all. I had a similar experience like you did when I got saved. It was an experience that I cannot explain. Physically and mentally it blew me away!! Now, mind you, dont be discouraged. There are going to be days where you wont "feel" anything. There are going to be days that you "think" Hes no there. I know, I did it, and still do it. If other beleivers are honest with you they will tell you that they feel like God isnt there sometimes, or that He doesnt care. Well, sweetie, He does. You just cant count on feelings.
I want to make sure you keep on keepin on in the Lord. You are a fairly new Christian and so dont let anything discourage you, or confuse you. You are a new creation in Christ. You are loved, and He is in you. Dont let the world creep back in to your life and destroy the joy you have found in Him!
I have been a christian for a while, and I tell you that Christianity is no cake walk. I had to learn it the hard way, but He promises us that he will never leave us nor forsake us. Trials will come, and go, but God and His love remains for all eternity. he doesnt change.
I am soo glad to have you here, and grow with us. Whenever I have a question or concern, I always ask. No matter how ridiculous it sounds I ask because I dont want anything to becaome a stumbling block in my walk wit Him. Im your friend, and I am ther eif I can help you in your journey.
Again, thanks again for joining us here on TheNet. Its a blessing to have you here. We are here to help one another daily in our walks with Him in Him. I hope to "see" more of you friend.
God Bless,
Paige
