Hi Marcus,

What a lovely family you have.

How has your winter been? We just had a second fairly major snow storm in Kansas, and it is the third coldest in history. While I grew up in the Northeast of the U.S., I spent 13 years in Orlando, FL, which really turned me into somewhat of a softy.

In what part of Canada, is London Ontario?

Hello my friend,
How are you doing? It has been a while since we last connected and I just wanted to stop in and say hello. Did your holiday go well? I hope so. Ours went ok. It wasnt the best and it wasnt the worst. I hate to be negative about it but I am honestly saying that it was hard. I was blessed enough to spend time with my husbands family and thier children(My husband has a 30 year old and a 24 year ol and they have children) but my family didnt make much of an effort to see me. I dont live that far away from all of them at all. Maybe 20 minutes, but they still complained about the drive. My mother was "too busy" to celebrate Christmas with the kids and that really hurt. Oh well. Life is always full of good and bad surprises, but luckily I have someone whom I can depend on 24/7, who is always there when I call who doesnt complain, and always loves me. and that Is God. WE are lucky that you and I are in Christ because we have a hope when the rest of people who arent Christian dont have much hope at all in these last days. I hope that the future Christmas's for my family and I will be better and memorable.
Well, what else has the Lord done in your life? How is your husband? and your "large menagerie"? I would love to live in a rural area. I now live in a much more safer and peaceful area then where I lived a year ago. Salt Lake City used to be such a great peaceful, place for families to raise children when I was growing up, but in the last 10 years, Salt Lake City has gone downhill and it is sad to see. Too many people, too much crime, and too much construction. Old cute houses have been torn down and made into condos. Parks have become Wal Marts, and little ma and pa stores have become strip malls. So we moved our little family to Layton Utah where it is much more livable and with less crime. If you were to visit, you would probably think that this place was a metropolis but, its not compared to alot of cities. Anyway, Praise the Lord that you are blessed with a great husband and alot of animals. I have to go, so keep in touch with me and let me know how things are. God Bless,
Paige

Soul Food for the day: ON PURPOSE
“All things work together for good…to those
Who are the called according to His purpose”
-Romans 8:28

Are you passing through the deep waters of trial and disappointment?
Does everything seem to be going against u?
These apparent misfortunes are not accidents.
The Lord allows such things for a blessed purpose!
So patiently trust Him. If you know the Lord,
Someday you will praise Him for it all!

God transforms trials into triumphs!
Have a blessed day to you, my friend.

Hello EJ!
Thank you for the comment. I am sorry that it took me soo long to get back to you. I have been really focusing on getting ready for Xmas, and all the birthday parties coming up for the people in my family that are born this month. My sons birthday is the 18th and my birthday is the 27th. My step dads is today, and my brother in laws son is coming back from Iraq for a visit and his birthday is this month too so we are having a party for him. So I have been busy painting.taking care of kids, church stuff, things around the house, shopping, decorating, etc. It takes alot of time to do just about anything when you have children.
But anyway, thank you for your understanding what I have been going through. Suicide is such a hard thing to comprehend. I am saddened by the whole thing. Itll be a hard Xmas.
Well, take care, and remember Im here for you too. Thank you for being a good friend. God Bless you!!

How have you been? I pray that all is well for you and the family. How has the holiday season been going so far for you? This time of year is kinda hard for me because my uncle commited suicide just recently and my mom is selling the home I grew up in, so Im mourning over alot. Its been hard, but I have to get over it eventually. Pray for me and my family. Losing my uncle has been hard. Anyway, so , I hope you are having a good time so far this December. What is your tradition usually this time of year? Well, since Xmas wont be at moms house anymore, we have to come up with our own traditions. Any ideas?
Well, sis, I pray that you are doing good, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon!!

I am soo lucky to have a friend like you. I am honored that you want to be friends. I hope you had a really great Thanksgiving. I cant believe it has already come and gone. Now make way for Xmas!!! Im not ready at all for it. Hey, cant do much if you dont have alot of $ to go around. But God always provides and if people dont get waht they are used to getting from us this year, and they dont like it, then its thier problem.right?? Anyway, I hope you had a great weekend and that the peace of God that surpasses our understanding be upon you!!

Hello EJ,
I noticed that you like nature, walking, and animals. I do too. In fact they are my favorite subject to paint and draw. Im a muralist and artist. I do alot of art for alot of churches here in Utah. God has blessed me with alot of work and i have met the greatest Christian brothers and sisters. Its soo good to have such a great group of people to fellowship with and get the encouragement I need. Especially when I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. I see that mothering is challenging for me sometimes so I crave all the mothering advice I can get. Anyway, again, I am glad you are here and I would love to be your friend. Ill see you later, maybe??

Dear EJ,

This is Paige, another moderator here on TheNet, and Im very blessed to have you join our community of believers, as we grow in the love and wisdom of our Lord . Its soo neat to meet new friends here from all around the world . You will find TheNet a safe place to get to know other believers and share your love and life in Christ.
I really like it here because its a great online source of Christian nformation, and fellowship. When I find it hard to get out of the house or hard to get to church, I get online and get "filled" with His word and all the other believers and thier prayers. Its soo good to know that when Im hurting there are others that are too and in need of the same love and support I do from the Lord. Praise God for His work on the Cross!!! We are all one body now and can work together to heal and help other members.
Also, Id like to invite you to come over and visit us in the Womens Group where women from all ages and all walks of life come to encourage and be encouraged to help, and be helped, to share thier wisdom with other women , and get prayer that we all need as women to continue in our faith and the path God has set before us all.
I hope to "see" you often and I would love to get to know you more as we walk this faith. Im your friend, and if I can help or answer any questions for you, Im here.
God Bless you,EJ! I cant wait to get to know you more.

Welcome to AAG. We want your experience here to be positive and uplifting. There are a couple of things that can help you maximize your experience.

Forums and Blogs: Forums are for asking questions and for sharing a response to a question someone has posted. This is a great opportunity for “iron to sharpen iron.” Blogs are for posting an opinion, view or specific message regarding a subject.

Making New Friends: You will make many new friends here on AAG. Some will send a friend invite to you. You have the choice to accept or decline. When an invite has been sent to you the “My Friends” the upper right box on your home page will be followed by the word “New”.” Simply click on the icon and make your choice. To invite someone to be your friend you simply need to go to their home page and click on “add as friend” under their personal photo. Once someone is your friend you will be able to email each of your friends on AAG. You can also leave a message on someone personal page, but note that everyone will be able to read what you leave there.

IMs: You can IM anyone who is on line by clicking on their picture located at the upper right part of the page.

Chat Room: There is a chat room located near the top of the AAG main page. It is a great place to get to know people better.

Videos: You can also upload Christian videos on the AAG main page or watch them. They are located down the left side of the main page.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. We are here to serve you to the best of our abilities.

We are glad you are here,
