Thank you for the good wishes. Spring will eventually get here and then I can open my windows to let in the fresh warm air. Michigan just got a frigid winter is all. Other wise the Lord has been good to me and my son. I pray that all is well with you. I know that it never gets really cold in Uganda and you never see snow there. Take care.

Dear Noreen,
I just found out about your son moving away. I can relate to that as we just had to have our 16 year old son move away and live with his uncle (my husband's brother) to get him away from some problems that he was having here. I just talked to him last night, as his friend had died, and he was crying. I so wanted to hug him but I had God do it for me. God can protect and be with Matthew far better than I can even if I could hold Matthew in my arms. God is good, always, no matter what and yes, He does allow trials into our lives in order to show us that He is the answer to everything, even when we don't know the question or have forgotten it. He is the answer, always. He Himself is the very best gift that He can offer us...not any of His gifts or blessings, just Him. He will hold you in His arms sweet sister, if you just release it all to Him. He is waiting. I will pray. God bless you, for HIM I live, Anna

The weather here it fairly warm--you can go out in shirt sleeves. It was pouring two days ago and very cold but it's much better now.
Yes, I like Spurgeon. I have a bio of him that I want to read but haven't yet. I read all of the time...well, around all of my other duties. I have his devo. Morning and Evening and I have some of his sermons on an online site that I enjoy. I also like Tozer and Matthew Henry and Jonathan Edwards. Brilliant, these men.
Looking forward to growing in our Lord's love and knowlege of Him together. God bless,

I love how your love the "old" preachers...I, too, have been reading some of the same people that you are. Aren't they just great when it comes to their love of God? I learn so much from Matthew Henry and Charles Spurgeon. I have been listening to Jonathan Edwards sermons recently. I want to know God like they did. For Him I live, Anna
