SELF DECLARATION

Hi brother. You didn't offend me whatsoever. We all get a little heated. I had to go delete many of my posts on the "tongue" issue & remind myself that the more important issue has slipped my focus. I enjoyed the back & forth when it was at a learning level. I just feel we need to be the example for the world because there are sooooooo many countries that involve themselves on this site. Luv u

OPTIMISTIC BELIEVER

Not all optimists are believers. And not all believers are optimists. But the optimistic believer is a dynamite duo.

Think about a perpetual optimist you know. (Perhaps it’s you!) When confronted with a challenge, a bold smile and a cheery word are their natural response. They do not possess the ability to mumble and they do not know the meaning of despair. Their shoulders are buoyant without burden and their voices are as sing-song bright as a bird’s delight.

Do you know a person of rock-solid faith? These people are firm. Steady. Immovable. Their goal is not to prove themselves to the world, but rather to take the world as it comes, living for an “audience of One.” Their faith is not for show, but when it does emerge, it humbly calls for company. Doubters and skeptics are helplessly attracted to the pure peace they radiate.

When is an optimist not a believer? When she looks at the bright side of life but refuses to acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. She is a poster child for secular self-help books and articles about changing your life through “the power of positive thinking.”

When is a believer not an optimist? When he has entrusted himself to Jesus Christ but continues to respond to life’s challenges with fear, anxiety, and doubt. He has not let his faith out of its small, Sunday-sized box or let it permeate every nook and cranny of daily, real life.

The optimistic believer, however, is a joyful combination of a deeply rooted faith that shows itself in a spirited, lighthearted approach to even the most trying circumstances. It’s not fake. It’s not shallow. It is a tangible faith that is completely confident in what is hoped for and assured of what is not seen (Hebrews 11:1). This is the person who says with confidence, “‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?’” (Hebrews 13:6).

I encourage you: be an optimistic believer. Let Christ have the victory in your life. And “do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded” (Hebrews 10:35).

 Hey is ChristsWorrior, I'm not here to take your spot, I only want to help you and others reinforce what you and the other one and LT is saying to Grazer and in hopes to help others in this! I have a very interesting walk with God in my life, its like Moses, Joseph of Jacob, Mordecai and Esther. I'm here too fight Satan were he stands like a Knight of the Cross! I know I was once like Grazer when I was a teen and my early steps as a saved Christian. God has been a great teacher to me! I also use to think like Steven Hawkins and Richard Dawkins. But have taken my passion and desires to God! And know and see the logic in Creationism and how false Evolution is. So I'm using my mind along with my heart, spirit and body against Satan, though God. For there are more Evils I'm aware of then Evolution Science. I'm a researcher and like science, as long as its truth! And not lies of man and the Academia way of things. I have discovered many interesting things and I love the Table of Nations in Genesis! Genesis is my base. As I study and God forms this map in my head form the times of Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham and Jeppath. I'm figuring out about how the Modern world became, and this shows me just how closely we are related as Americans to the rest of the world and in this, it takes away any form any indifference thoughts of any other race form me! For we all form Asia, to the Mid East to Russia to the Nile of Egypt to Europe to Crown nations to the Americas and all over, we are one people created by God, separated by culture, environment, and language, sense the times of Ancient Babylon! Hey brother and sister, I'm here by the will of God to help, not here to make others feel I know more, God has his will for all of us man! I look forward to being friends and working with you on this.

There's no love more precious,
more costly, more kingly.

Jesus never told us to predict a day or hour when He would return, but He did tell us to be aware of the times in which we live and to always be ready for His coming.

What are we to do and how are we to live in the light of all that is taking place around us? Look up! God has a plan and He is working out His plan. The coming of the Lord is drawing near.

Here are four things God wants us to be doing as we await the sound of the trump of God and our gathering together unto Him:
- Guard your heart (Matthew 24: 12)
- Come together with other believers (Hebrews 10:25)
- Make Christ known (Matthew 24:14)
- Be full of hope (Titus 2:13)
