Christy Dear,

I just received this from our world-map prayer corps bullentine for the month of April. I believe you are not surprised to note that your country is included in the 'HALL OF SHAME'. It explains why we have been praying unceasingly for Indonesia. Through you and the few, persecuted Christians...God is raising an army that is going to turn Indonesia right-side up. I have deliberately posted this here so that other friends in the NEt can read and assist you with prayers. i hope all is well with you my friend. Now read along and lets fight on our KNEES:

GLOBAL PRAYER CONCERNS

This month, we would like to give you several specific contacts that will assist you in your concerted prayers for believers around the world – your prayers can change nations!

1. The first is an annual publication by International Christian Concern called “The Hall of Shame”. In this report is information about the 10 countries that are considered to be the worst violators of human rights, especially pertaining to Christians.

Please pray for the believers and others in these 10 countries: North Korea , Iraq , Saudi Arabia , China , Pakistan , Eritrea , Egypt , India , Laos and Indonesia . There are more than 200 million Christians worldwide who live in countries where there is overt social or governmental anti-Christian hostility. This hostility is expressed in various forms – from harassment, job discrimination and imprisonment to rape, torture and assassination. Pray for the pastors and church leaders especially, as they are often the primary targets for persecution.

Pray also for the political leaders of these countries (1Tim 2:1-3) that they might repent of their hardness of heart and come to salvation through Christ. For more information, you can go to the ICC website, www.persecution.org.

2. Second, there is no question that terrorism is a growing global concern and it is often aimed specifically at Christians. But one man is developing a unique, and we believe a very important and inspired, strategy.

A new web-based ministry, Adopt a Terrorist for Prayer (ATFP), helps Christians follow Jesus' instructions to love and pray for their enemies (Luke 6:27,28). ATFP believes terrorists are vulnerable to an authentic word from God and to Jesus' forgiving love, referencing what God says through the prophet Ezekiel: “I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live” (Ezek 18:23).

God loves even terrorists, and desires their salvation. Perhaps you or your church could adopt a specific terrorist (or terrorist group operating in a specific country) and begin to pray and fast for them to repent, to turn from their wicked ways and come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. For a list of the names of specific terrorists, you may visit the ATFP website at www.myatfp.com. [NOTE: World MAP does not necessarily endorse ATFP or their website; nor do we have personal relationship with the founder. We do, however, believe in the scriptural principal of praying for our enemies, that God may turn their hearts (Prov 21:1).]

May the lord bless you my sister and kindly pass my love to your family and your good pastor. Will be happy to read from you, as usual. You friend from Kenya-Pst. Bermhard

God bless you Christy!

How beautiful to see your picture at long last. Very nice picture I must say...taken alongside your cherished grandchild (as usual). Thanks so much for your uplifting mails. You are my favorite friend from Indonesia-in fact the only one I think and to know that you are studying to become a trained servant of the most high makes you so much valuable.

Christy, as a country, Christianity is catching up pretty fast with us here in Kenya...but we still have all the common hurdles facing the spread of God's word everywhere: unbelief, magic, islam, traditional forms of worship, sceptism, intelectualism, sinful syncretism etc. Anyway, by God's grace...more and more peole are turning unto His saving light. You are right my sister when you say that He is nearly coming again. I really thank God for friends like you Christy. May the fire He has ignited in your heart continue to burn ever brighter. god bless you my sister. Your Kenyan friend-Pst. Bernhard

Hello Christi!!
Blessings today! How are you? Just thought Id stop by and say hello. I saw you were on line. So what is going on? Did you have a great Easter? I helped out with childrens ministry and it was alot of fun. They need all the help they can get when Easter rolls around. I cannot believe that Easter has already come and gone! Wow time flys when u r havin fun!
Now, I dont know if I already asked you, but are you a stay at home mom? Or were you? Sometimes I feel like being a mother at home with kids is soo unrewarding. I was always a career girl, so being home with the kids is soo different. I love my kids, bu tI gues sI just need some encouragement from another mom. I hope to hear from you soon. You take care!!

Hello Christy!!
How are you doing today? been thinking of you and hoping you are ok.So what is Easter like in Indonesia? What do you do with your kids? My church had a Saturday service, and a Sunday service. We went to the Saturday service and helped out in Childrens ministry. It was fun. Its a new church for me and my family because we moved. I know its my new home church and I know Im supposed to be here. God is good, Im praying that this aweosme church will let me paint for them. Pray for me.
So, how is motherhood? It has its ups and downs right? For me there definately is. I always give God my day because I have no idea how to do this job. Do you? If you do, PLEASE teach me! Ha Ha.
Well, my dear, I hope I see more of you around here. You are missed. i hope all is well and may the Lord richly bless you always.

I wish I could tell you how to become a writer - but that question is beyond a simple answer. There are books on the subject. There are millions of writers and wannabe writers. If God has called you to be a writer, then he can bring it to pass. My recommendation would be to volunteer to write for your church or some other small organization to start out. Keep writing to improve and find people who are willing to read and critique your writing. There are lots of websites that offer information on writing. Use search engines to find helpful sites.
Good luck!

Hi Christy,

It is so nice to see you online this early after ressurection day. You have been on my mind and the good work of the Lord you are doing for Christ in Indonesia. Have been burdened by the Lord to intercede for Indonesia...which I have been doing concertedly for the past two weeks alongside other partners I have at world Map Prayer corps.

May God show you His immeasurable love this week. Maximillan Putra Groose is so cute one just feels like reaching out and touching him on the cheek. I am sure he will bring lots of blessings to your page. Continue to enjoy His love. Your friend-Pst. Bernhard

Oh how I pray that instead of a great flood of water that the Lord will send a flood of revival throughout your land. Let the people hear the Lord calling them to come to him so he can heal the brokenness and bring great hope In Jesus name

I love your kitten and chick picture. You all have had a hard time in Indonesia for the last few years. It is awesome to connect with those we have been praying for. Jesus has been reaching out with dreams and visions bringing many to salvation in the last few years. In the word it says that in the last days God would pour out His Spirit upon all flesh, young men would see visions and old men would dream dreams and He would pour his Spirit upon men and women. God bless you this day.

Miss Gabriel,

You are welcome dear coz He first adopted us and made us all sons and daughters of God. The best we can do is to LOVE one another after first LOVING GOD the way he commanded us and showed by example...

I always imagine how difficult it must be to be a Christian in Indonesia...May God grant you the grace to overcome!

I am happy too to become your friend and hope to hear from you frequently. Yes, my first name is Bernhard though everyone calls me 'Bernard.' Blessed by your friendship. Your friend from Kenya-Pastor Bernhard
