My Muslim friend's name is Juma. He is what one may call a muslim zealot. But nothing can withstand prayer...so, let's keep on praying.

Christy, that is a beautiful anlogy you paint concerning the root of Islam and how delibitating it is to the work of Jehovah God. Thanks dear, I see matters clearly now.

God bless your day. Love you-Pst. Bernhard

You are The Lord's beloved and you share His heart for Indonesia, lately my heart has been broken by hearing the stories of those who are on the front line.
Here in the US it is a sad fact that most of the Christians are still very self centered and do no care for the parts of the Body of Christ that are hurting.
You are the Lords beloved and even though you feel forgotten, God sings over you and knows all that you and your people face. Please forgive us, I pray that the Holy Spirit will move mightily throughout the forgotten nations and bring a mighty revival and restoration.

Good afternoon Christy!

So happy to see you active in the Net today for I am sure you bless the lives of all those you correspond to the same way you bless mine.

My church is sparing tomorrow and Friday to specifically pray for your pastor and your church, The Tiberius Church in Indonesia. Though we are few in number (for our church is still young) and very far away, I have the conviction that God is going to do something great for you...and that whatever it is, it is going to bring much glory to Him in Jakarta!

It was so blessing to talk to you first thing in the morning and I believe my day will be greatly infilled. I can sense Christ walk besides me and He has placed a new song in my lips. Bob Bushman told me to tell others "Our God Is Brilliant!" and I hereby do!

Please, pray along for your pastor and your church as a whole. Pray that all brethren you worship Him with be revived and that in each heart, there be placed a heavy burden for the desperate souls all around. Pray for wisdom, clarity of vision and incisiveness to clothe all the elders who assist the pastor and all leaders who share the pulpit with Him.

God loves you Christy. He loves and will stand with your church for He is opening a new page in your lives. We are lucky to have him. A muslim friend of mine wrote me this not so many days ago. I felt you should know how deceiving satan can be. HERE IS WHAT HE WROTE:

Hi Pastor Ben,

I know you were once a Muslim faithful. Take this opportunity to READ CAREFULLY the following message:

What Does Islam Say about the Day of Judgment?

Like Christians, Muslims believe that the present life is only a trial preparation for the next realm of existence. This life is a test for each individual for the life after death. A day will come when the whole universe will be destroyed and the dead will be resurrected for judgment by God. This day will be the beginning of a life that will never end. This day is the Day of Judgment. On that day, all people will be rewarded by God according to their beliefs and deeds.

Those who die while believing that “There is no true god but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger (Prophet) of God” and are Muslim will be rewarded on that day and will be admitted to Paradise forever, as God has said:
And those who believe and do good deeds, they are dwellers of Paradise, they dwell therein forever. (Quran, 2:82)

But those who die while not believing that “There is no true god but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger (Prophet) of God” or are not Muslim will lose Paradise forever and will be sent to Hellfire, as God has said:

And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him and he will be one of the losers in the Hereafter. (Quran, 3:85)
And as He has said:
Those who have disbelieved and died in disbelief, the earth full of gold would not be accepted from any of them if it were offered as a ransom. They will have a painful punishment, and they will have no helpers. (Quran, 3:91)

One may ask, ‘I think Islam is a good religion, but if I were to convert to Islam, my family, friends, and other people would persecute me and make fun of me. So if I do not convert to Islam, will I enter Paradise and be saved from Hellfire?’

The answer is what God has said in the preceding verse, “And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him and he will be one of the losers in the Hereafter.”

After having sent the Prophet Muhammad to call people to Islam, God does not accept adherence to any religion other than Islam. God is our Creator and Sustainer. He created for us whatever is in the earth. All the blessings and good things we have are from Him. So after all this, when someone rejects belief in God, His Prophet Muhammad , or His religion of Islam, it is just that he or she be punished in the Hereafter. Actually, the main purpose of our creation is to worship God alone and to obey Him, as God has said in the Holy Quran (51:56).

This life we live today is a very short life. The unbelievers on the Day of Judgment will think that the life they lived on earth was only a day or part of a day, as God has said:
He (God) will say, “How many years did you stay on the earth?” They will say: “We stayed a day or part of a day....” (Quran, 23:112-113)
And He has said:
Did you then think that We had created you in jest (without any purpose), and that you would not be returned to Us (in the Hereafter)? So, God is exalted, the True King. None has the right to be worshipped but Him... (Quran, 23:115-116)

The life in the Hereafter is a very real life. It is not only spiritual, but physical as well. We will live there with our souls and bodies.
In comparing this world with the Hereafter, the Prophet Muhammad said: {The value of this world compared to that of the Hereafter is like what your finger brings from the sea when you put it in and then take it out.}1 The meaning is that, the value of this world compared to that of the Hereafter is like a few drops of water compared to the sea.

Do have a great week-Your friend Juma.

HERE IS MY ANSWER TO HIM:

Juma-Nice case you have built for lslam and Mohammed. The Holy Bible says pretty much the same concerning Christianity and the only begotten Son of God Jesus Christ! Because no two roads can ever lead to the right place in spiritual matters, one of the two is definately a counterfait of the real thing and am certain it ain't what l believe in for CHRIST REIGNS and LIVES forever. The Quaran you quote from rejects the trinity...yet you say that God will ask me "...do you think that WE created you in jest?..." Please, note the inconsistencies...the Bible never contradicts itself for it is God's Word which shall stand forever!Peace my brother-Pst. Ben.

May God bless your day Christy as you stand vigillant and wary!-Pst. Bernhard

Christy-Just wanted to say a quick good-morning! Hope your day was blessed and that He has awakened you with testimony on your lips. Our God is just awesome, I can tell you. Was just wondering whether you are already a friend to my sweet mama Nienie. If not, please check her out for she is a great woman of God. Please pray for her first daughter too who is out seeking the face of the Lord. With so many confusing voices in our universe, pray that she is led in the right road and that our Father of lights illumines her path, thoughts and plans. My said sister's name is Legerna and she is a sweet child of God only aged 20. Christy, I can count on you for the spirit of the Lord resides in you. Hope to hear more from you for you delight my heart and spirit. In Christ Jesus-Your friend from Kenya-Pst. Bernhard

Hello Christy!!
How are you?
Its been a while since I have heard from you and was wondering how you were and if everything was ok. I love to recieve your loving and encouraging words. They help me get through the day alot easier. You are a good friend to me, and I dont want to lose touch with you.
I have been doing well. Not the best, but not the worst either. For some reason, every year since I was born, I have had a horrible time this time of year. It nver fails. It seems like I get really depressed and certain things in that season of life just go all wrong. I dread this time of year and I beg God to have mercy on me and help me with this. I wish he would take this away from me. I would assume it is the change in weather over here from the overcast winter months to the warmer Spring weather. Im not too sure. It would make more sense that Id get better because of the sun coming out more, but Im afraid not.Kind wierd. Pray for me that this burden be lifted off me ,please? Thank you.
How has mother hood been lately? and have you played some bowl lately?
R u on a league? It looks like alot of fun.
Well, I shall go for now, but keep in touch, alright?

Blessed Sister,

Feel free to share whatever the Lord brings your way because by doing that, our collective joy will be complete.

You are an inspirational sister as well and I can only compare your inputs with the nuggets I receive from my spiritual mum Nienie and my other godly sister Pixie. You three have had a very great impact in my life and life has never been the same since I came to know you. You surely must be women of prayer and I always pray that God will raise more mighty women like you with hearts aflame for Christ.

You are a worthy friend and sister and I pray that my heavenly Father will help you bear much fruit. Your bro-Pst. Bernhard

Hello Christy!
How are you doing,sister?
Im doing a little better I guess. i was really stressed out not too long ago. I think i was still suffering with postpardom depression. Sometimes I feel like I still have it and sometimes not. Thank you for the advice and the love you have shown me! Yo are a blessing to me and everone here on The Net!
WE are all the body of Christ. When one member hurts the other members help it heal. We are here to help you and I am here to get help too. This is a great place to do that!
So how is the mother hood thing going? Still going ok? How are the grandkids? I still think that youre a great mom and such a breath of fresh air because in this society today, a mom that stays home is not good. In fact its considered laziness. I dont feel lazy at all! Im always on my toes! A woman without a career is alot better than one who doesnt work, I sometimes feel as if Im not making a difference. Like Im not serving God enough. Do youever feel that way?
Well anyway, Ill stop right now so I can breathe. Just kidding. I hope to "see" you soon my friend!
God Bless you always!!

Hello Christy
Thank you for the message. I really like hearing from you. It a privilage to be a friend to someone from Indonesia.
Its good to know about your kids and grandkids. What a blessing. So are you pretty close to them? Are they Christian? and how long have you been saved the "second time"? So, do you feel like you were not truly saved before? Isnt it true that once saved always saved? I know we suffer the consequences for our sin but the Lord said, "It is finished", right? "When you are free, you are free indeed? right? I was just wondering. I mean sometimes i feel as if God isnt htere or He is purposely ignoring me, but as far as my salvation, I guess I dont question it too much?
Anyway, Thanks again for the encouragement being a mom. I really need to get it straight in my head that Ill be ok. Chriaty, I dont know if you really know the fear i have in me. I meann, I really freak out now that not only am I a mom to one child, but two? I think to myself, what was God thinking? So any advice you can give, Im all up for it!!!
God Bless you!
In Christ,

Christy Dear,

Thanks for the acknowledgement and please take heart my sister for all is not lost. Remember the few men Gideon used to win the war with God on their side? God has never changed down the ages so don't be discouraged by the small percentage of Christians in your beloved country Indonesia...for God purposed that you be only the 15% you say so that He is glorified when victory eventually arrives. You see 15% and tremble...but the Lord sees 15,000,000.000 Christians in Indonesia and the DEVIL TREMBLES. Please read how the lord fights in Judges 6:13 forward to 8:7.

Remember also what the Apostle Paul instructs here: Ephesians 6:10-13
'Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Because we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, and against the rulers of the darkness of this world and against spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore, take unto you the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.'

Christy, this is the Lord's war...using His weapons (armour). Just take note of that and rejoice for the war is long won...We are lucky to be the vessels He uses. He could have chosen to fight it using angels but because He wants to share the victory with us, he invites you and me...weak as we are! My sister, the Lord is coming soon, maranatha!

Stay strong and focused on His might. Your loving brother-Pst. Bernhard
