If you woke up this morning
with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won't survive the week.

If you have never experienced
the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or
the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.

If you can attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare, especially in this World
today.

If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them
or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can
offer God's healing touch.

If you can read this message,
you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world
that cannot read anything at all.

You are so blessed in ways
you may never even know.

Hello Sue!!!
I know it has been quite some time since I last wrote. I guess I let life just kind of get in the way a little bit and didnt have much time to devote to the computer. Painting, and kids just kind of take up a CHUNK of your time.
I am having a difficult time, and in your testimony up top, I felt like you would understand. I am encountering abuse but from a 3 year old! Does that make sense? He is not a teenager yet, or a grown child, I know. But he is hitting, screaming, refusing, and is a very strong willed, "this is the way it is" type of personality. Ok, yes, I have alot of moms tell me that "This too shall pass", and that is great. I hope it does. But knowing what I struggle with emotionally because of generations of depression, anger,OCD,anxiety, addictions, and suicides, I can only fear to great extreme that he will be the same way too. Help? I dont know how to do this,Sue? But being that he is still young I guess I have a better chance at preventing anything to get worse. Please tell me Im not crazy? Please tell me my son isnt either? I just need some prayer and advice.
Thank you sister, You are a blessing.

Hello Sue

I have read your story amazingly i had to read it as i am in the very same situation with my daughters she also hits and abusses me in every possible way she can but i thank the Good Lord that i have not gone in any other direction than his way I know it is very difficult and hard as you feel you just want to give up .I have now resorted to a christian therapy with my girls and pray that the Lord will take control of their lives .This is my first time on this website so im not quite sure how it all works but i needed to share with you that you are not alone and no matter what we need to be strong and that is what i am doing with the help of the Lord as sthere is no other way but Gods Way.Have a blessed Day

Hello Sue!
How are you doing today?
I pray that you are blessed this week and that your spirit has been uplifted in His love.
So, I notice that you are involved in fundraisers. What type? any? I am a part of The Pregnancy Resource Center here in Salt Lake City Utah. I think its an incredible resource for Christian women who need financial assitance. This orginization does not believe in abortion of course and is fighting to ban it.
I like the post up above titled "God can use Anyone". That is really clever. Did you write that? Its really cool.
Well, I thought Id stop by and say hello! I pray that all is well for you and your loved ones.
God Bless You Sister

God Bless you Sue!!! Its good to hear from you! I didnt realize you have been a member since December! Gee, I must have missed you? I joined in September! Do you realize the growth of TheNet is close to 1,000 members!!! What an awesome God thing!!!! He is soo good! I was soo scared to get online after not having a computer for 8 years. I really didnt want to "surf the Net" or anything. I just wanted email, but I somehow ran into All ABout God and I dont even remember how I did! Crazy!! Again, a God thing!!! I am thankfull that "the Times" can be a good thing, not always a bad thing. God can use the internet to reach people now!!! Gee, what a concept right? He must have taken His computer classes in High School!
Anyway, its exciting to get a message from you, and thank you for all the compliments. I reall appreciate it!!! It encourages me and helps me keep my head up when I have "those days". So, what do you enjoy doing as a hobby?
Just Fyi, I have Limited Edition prints available that I normally sold for $50 a piece but now am selling them for $20 if you know anyone who loves Eagles or wolves? I have them displayed in my page. If you know anyone? Ima starving artist.!!!
Thanks for u and all you do for us all!!!
God Bless

Hello Sue,

It is strange that anybody with such a story would escape my attention for this long! The devil surely knows how to side-track us.

we proclaim hope where many have lost that ingredient...and help them have it back IN THE NAME OF JESUS! Just sent you an add request and then...we unleash CHRISt in what He does best: RECONSTRUCTION. Be blessed-Pst. Bernhard

I appologise for not getting back to you sooner Sue. Illness struck. I have received hands on prayer in our home from elders of our church and also received lots of prayer from fellow Christian friends. The power and love our Lord has for us is tremendous almost overwhelming but wonderful. I have just listened to Jo-Gils video, so relaxing and speaks volumes it said it all. I wish you peace, love and much joy Sue at this most meaningful time of year. Will write to you again very soon, Lorraine

Hello Sue,I would love to become a friend of yours, I'm also very new to this site and struggling a little with how it all works. By the Grace of God i'll figure it out. It's so good to have new friends from America but it's also nice to know other Christians sharing in a wonderful faith from the UK. God bless you Sue and your cat. My husband David and I have 2 dogs. Megan and Mollie. ( Meg and Mol ) Chocolate labrador who's enormous and a cute very small black mongrel. They keep us active. I too love walking but my health limits me to just how much I'm able to do. Waffled on a bit here Sue so I'll say bye for now.
