I noticed your below status. It reminds me, I recently got a book called (Man: The dwelling place of God) by AW Tozer, I haven't read it yet though. I see his name here and there and I have listened to audios of him. His sermons are way over my head but he seems wise with the scripture. One of the most incredible phenomena in the world today is the immense and universal popularity of Jesus Christ.
Yet the teachings of Christ are wholly contrary to the beliefs of the modern world. The spiritual philosophy underlying the kingdom of God is radically opposed to that of civilized society. In short, the Christ of the New Testament and the world of mankind are so sharply opposed to each other as to amount to downright hostility. To achieve a compromise is impossible.
We can only conclude that Jesus is universally popular today because He is universally misunderstood.
Everyone admires Jesus, but almost no one takes Him seriously. He is considered a kindly idealist who loved babies and underprivileged persons. He is pictured as a gentle dreamer who was naïve enough to believe in human goodness and brave enough to die for His belief. The world thinks of Him as meek, selfless and loving, and values Him because He was what we all are at heart, or would be if things were not so tough and we had more time to cultivate our virtues. Or He is a sweet, holy symbol of something too fine, too beautiful, to be real, but something which we would not lose nevertheless from our treasure house of precious things.
Because the human mind has two compartments, the practical and the ideal, people are able to live comfortably with their dreamy, romantic conception of Jesus while paying no attention whatsoever to His words. It is this neat division between the fanciful and the real that enables countless thousands of persons to say "Lord, Lord" in all sincerity while living every moment in flat defiance of His authority.

Christ is only our Lord as we submit to His lordship. That means making Christ Lord of all areas of our life. Are we attempting to limit His lordship in our lives?

Paul was in a dark place. He was a prisoner of Nero in degrading circumstances and awaited death at any moment. Many thoughts filled his mind. Yet, above these were two others: the will of God and the promise of life. Whatever was happening to him he was convinced was in the will of God; it could not be otherwise. While Nero might be the means of his death yet he had the promise of life in Christ Jesus. Man's worst efforts opened up God's promises. Somewhere in this darkest hour was God's will and somewhere in the confusion was God's promise of life. May we also try to remember these wonderful truths in our dark times.

YES, YOU NEVER KNOW. I BELEIVE REINA WILL BE JUST FINE TOO. DURING SPRING BREAK IM GOING TO START HER ON BRAINNETICS. IT'S A MATH PROGRAM I BOUGHT HER A COUPLE YEARS AGO,NOW THAT SHE HAS HER MULTIPLECATION DOWN SHE CAN DO IT. IT'S AN AMAZING PROGRAM, AS THERE ARE TRICKS TO MATH, SO IM THINKING THIS WILL BE THE TRICK. I'M ALSO DONATING NEW BOOKS TO 5TH GRADE AT SCHOOL AND ORDERED AN EXTRA ONE FOR HER THIS SUMMER, SO WHEN SHE STARTS BACK TO SCHOOL SHE'LL BE ON IT. GRANNY IS ALWAYS THINKING AHEAD. THEY NEED NEW BOOKS THERE SO BADLY. I WISH ALL KIDS COULD GO TO THIS SCHOOL IT'S SUCH A BLESSING. MY LITTLE GIRL IS SO SPECIAL, SHE'S JUST THE SWEETEST CHILD, I SO BLESSED. I THINK WHAT LIFE WOULD BE LIKE IF I DIDNT HAVE HER, DONT EVEN WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT. THERE ARE TIMES, WHEN I WANT TO TEAR MY HAIR OUT, BUT I WOULDNT CHANGE A THING. EXCEPT FOR THE MY DAUGHTER BEING HEALED AND HAVING HER LIFE TOGETHER. A CHILD NEEDS THEIR MOTHER AND THIS BREAKS MY HEART. AS HARD AS IT WOULD BE, IF I GOT A MIRACLE WITH MY DAUGHTER, IT WOULD BE A BLESSING FOR HER TO BE WITH HER MOTHER, FOR BOTH OF THEM. BUT THINGS ARE'NT THAT WAY AND IT WOULD BE A DEVESTATINGLY BAD SITUATION FOR HER TO LIVE IN. SO, I'M THANKFUL GOD CHOSE ME TO CARE FOR HER AND RAISE HER. I' BLESSED. Paul was in a dark place. He was a prisoner of Nero in degrading circumstances and awaited death at any moment. Many thoughts filled his mind. Yet, above these were two others: the will of God and the promise of life. Whatever was happening to him he was convinced was in the will of God; it could not be otherwise. While Nero might be the means of his death yet he had the promise of life in Christ Jesus. Man's worst efforts opened up God's promises. Somewhere in this darkest hour was God's will and somewhere in the confusion was God's promise of life. May we also try to remember these wonderful truths in our dark times.

THANK YOU MY DEAR FRIEND, GOD BLESS YOU!!! I FEEL BETTER, AND DID MUCH BETTER WITH REINA TINITE, THANK YOU JESUS!! I'VE BEEN READING AND OBERVING. THIS WORLD IS IN HORRIBLE CONDITION. THINGS ARE HAPPENING FAST. WHEN I LOOK AT WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE CHURCH, IM THINKING YOU CANT GO ONWHAT YOU FEEL, IF IT'S NOT LINING UP WITH THE WORD, IT'S NOT RIGHT. IM SEEING DO MUCH OF IT. IVE ASK MYSELF AM I BEING PICKY, NIT PICKIN........... I DONT THINK SO. AM I JUDGING, I HOPE ITS NOT THAT. THERE JUST SEEMS ALOT OF WHAT SHOULDNT BE HAPPENING GOING ON. GOD SAID TO DISCIPLINE OUR CHILDREN, THIS MEANS TEACH THEM TO RESPECT AND HONOR, ESPECIALLY IN THE HOUSE OF GOD. WHEN I THINK OF WHAT JESUS DID IN THE TEMPLE, HE WAS MAD, VERY UPSET. WHAT WOULD HE SAY IF HE WALKED IN AND THE PARENTS WERE SOCIALIZING AND LETTING THEIR KIDS RUN WILD, ETC ETC. I THINK HE'D BE TURNING SOME PEWS UPSIDE DOWN AND YANKING A FEW OFF THE PODIUM!!!!!! THAT'S WHAT I THINK. IT SCARES ME FOR THEM TO THINK ABOUT IT. THE MORE I THINK ABOUT WHAT IVE SEEN, THE MORE I FEEL THAT FEELING OF RUN KAY RUN!!!!! WE ARE TO PROTECT OUR LITTLE ONES AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE TALKING HARD TO THESE TEENS AND YOUTH AND ESPECIALLY THE PARENTS!! WE NEED TO TAKE A GOOD HARD LONG LOOK AT WHAT'S HAPPENING, LOOK AT WHAT OUR KIDS ARE BEING EXPOSED TO RIGHT IN CHURCH!!!!! NO TIME TO SUGAR-COAT AND CRACK JOKES. MAKE IT CLEAR, THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES. ONE OF THE COUNTY OFFICIERS AT THE CHURCH WORKS WITH THE SCHOOLS, SAID THERE IS A CLUB FOR UNWED TEENS, TO HAVE SOMETHING TO LOVE AND DONT CARE WHO THE FATHER IS. IM SO GLAD REINA IS IN A CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, NO WONDER IM UNDER ATTACK!!! ONCE I GET OVER THIS BRONCHITUS, IM TRYING ANOTHER CHURCH. GOD GAVE ME THIS CHILD, AND I PRAY AND TRUST HE SEES ME THROUGH IT. YES, THAT'S BARNEY OR SHALL WE CALL HIM HOUDINI!!! HAHA!!! HE'S JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!! HE LOOKS SO GOOD NOW AND SO SMART!! I SHOULD HAVE LABELS THEM, DONT KNOW HOW TO GO BACK AND DO THAT. HE GRABED HIS TETHER WITH THE SNAP AND SAT AT MY FEET TO GET THE HARNESS THE OTHER DAY AND SOEHOW HE GOT THE BACK DOOR OPENED ONE DAY. ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES TRAINING THIS DOG. THE WEIMERANNER IS HEIDI AND OF COURSE THERE'S REDFORD MY PET FROG THAT LIVES ON MY FRONT PORCH., I'LL HAVE TO DIG OUT PICS OF MY POTBELLY PIGS, MY POSSUM , COON, A FEW OTHERS IVE HAD. I'VE RESCUED AND RAISED SOME PRETTY COOL ANIMALS. NO FOXES, DEER, BOBCATS, BEAR, ETC YET. COONS HAVE HORRIBLE TEMPERS ESPECIALLY THE FEMALES. POSSUMS ARE THE BEST, SO SWEET AND LOVEING , JUST LIKE HUMAN BABIES, THEY CRY TO BE PICKED UP. THEY HOLD THEIR BOTTLES LIKE BABIES AND THOSE LITLE PINK SHELL SHAPED EARS!!! THEY ARE ADORABLE. HARRY WOULD PLAY HIDE-N-GO-SEEK IN A TALL TRASH CAN IN THE UTILITY ROOM, HE WAS A HOOT. HE'D FALL ASLEEP AFTER HE LICKED MY HEAD SOAKEN WET HOLDING ON TO MY ARM OR HEAD. I LOVED THAT LITTLE GUY! I'LL SEE HIM SOME DAY, AS WITH EVERYTHING ELSE I'VE RESCUED. GIRL I'M GOIN TO BE MOBBED WHEN I GET THERE! JESUS WITH ALL MY CRITTERS WAITING FOR ME!!!! WHAT A WAY TO GO!!!!!!
