Dear friends it is good to hear from you and the good news about how God has sustained you both during the trials you have faced. i have 2 sons 20 and 24 and a daughter 17 and I know how trying it is to keep placing them in the care of the Lord and not getting all worried about their choices and life styles. All we can do is live the life. and pray they will follow our example.
My prayer for you is that you will have a merry Christmas and a God blessed new year.
How are you doing my dears? I'm thankful & praising God for the good reports! Thank you for the 'forwards' & for staying in touch. We are moving to Arkansas to be near our daughter & grandkids soon! It shouldn't interupt our communications, since we live in the motor-home & we are like 'turtle' & carry our home on our backs! (Or maybe our home carrys us?!) LOL! Psalm 89:17 For You are the glory of their strength, And by Your favor our horn is exalted.
Psalm 140:7 "O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, You have covered my head in the day of battle.
Father thankyou for your promices to your children in your Word, I praise you that today we will all find your grace and help in what ever situation we find ourselves in and be quick to give you praise for all the great things you are doing in and through our lives.

Dear friend! The Bible encourages us to seek God early in the morning. Those who seek God early in the morning receive the grace of God and do well in life.
In the Bible we see that God commanded Moses to get ready and come into His presence early in the morning (Exodus 34:2). Moses sought the Lord early in the morning and God gave him the wisdom and power and authority to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.
King David was a person who sought the Lord diligently early in the morning (1 Samuel 17:20; Ps 5:3; 63:1). It was the early morning meditation that gave David the assurance that God was with him and he was able to defeat Goliath. Even after becoming the King of Israel, he sought the Lord diligently early in the morning and never failed to seek Him. Even the prophet Isaiah has said that God awoke him every morning (Isaiah 50:4). All these men were ordinary people but because they sought the Lord early in the morning, they received the wisdom, grace, strength and power to do mighty things for Him.
Beloved! The Lord desires to bless you with His wisdom, power and strength to do mighty things for Him. If you too would meditate on the Word of God and wait in His presence for His guidance, you will find God empowering you with His wisdom, courage and strength and knowledge and the world will be in awe of you.
When you seek the Lord early in the morning, He shall bestow His grace on you. The Bible says, “Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not” (Lamentations 3:22).
As you meditate on the Word, the Holy Spirit will teach you the Word. When the Holy Spirit teaches you, you will surpass the worldly people in knowledge and skill and wisdom. The Lord will use you to do mighty exploits for His glory and make you a blessing to the world.

Lord you are there with this dear couple this day who need your help, Father give the doctors wisdom in the treatment of John so He is not suffering so much, Father thank you for the medical comunity and all they do, but Lord we also ask for a healing touch in Johns body. Father give Susan grace as she cares for you as she is caring for her husband. In the name of Jesus.
