A FAITH THAT WORKS THROUGH LOVE
2 PETER 1: 1-9

In 2 Peter chapter two Peter shares a some remarkable things about how to live out the Christian life. In verse three he says that Jesus has the power of God, by which He has given us everything we need to live for, and serve God. He goes on to say that we have these provisions because we know Him because Jesus called us by his glorious goodness.

In these provisions that God has given to us contains according to verse four, “great and precious promises.” And as we shall see as we read further into chapter two that with these provisions, or gifts, that we can share in God's nature and that we won't be ruined by the world and with it's evil desires.

Peter says that because we have these blessings that we should do our best to add some very important things to our lives. Notice the list begins with faith, then the list ends with a God kind of love.

All these things mentioned are fruits coming forth out of our lives because of our relation with the Lord and are the fruit that the Spirit produces in our lives. (see Galatians 5:22-23 )

Add to your faith, add goodness; that is as you are growing in your faith, to develop virtue.

To your goodness, add knowledge; that is in exercising goodness, develop knowledge.
“Study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that needs not
to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
( 2 Timothy 2:15 )

To your knowledge, add self-control; that is in growing in knowledge, develop self control.

To your self-control, add patience; that is in developing self control, allow God to make you more patient.

To your patience, add service for God; that is as we becoming more patient, we can began to serve God.

To your service for God, add kindness for your brothers and sisters in Christ;

And to this kindness, add love; that is while we showing kindness begin to exercise the love of God.

“And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” ( Romans 5:5 )

“If all these things are in you and are growing, they will help you to be useful and productive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But anyone who does not have these things cannot see clearly. He is blind and has forgotten that he was made clean from his past sins.” ( 2Peter 1:8-9 )

As I considered this passage it really speaks to my heart that our relationship with God begins with faith, and ends up with love, from something that is a substance of things hoped for, to a having the love of God poured into our hearts to touch this hurting world through our lives.

"Faith works through love." ( Gal. 5:6 )

Prayer Father God help us to learn to add to our faith those things that will makes us into useful vessels for your love to touch the world through us. In Jesus name amen.

Dear Pastor may God keep giving you many many more opportunities to proclaim the Word of Life Jesus to many many . I pray with you for the man you were praying with that the love of God will gush forth in his life by the Holy Spirit and set him free from a spirit of fear and superstition. God grant to you great wisdom to minister the grace of god to a needy and oppressed people without Jesus.

Soul food for the Day: The CENTER...

The center chapter of the BIBLE is Psalm 118.. there are 594 chapters before and after Psalm 118
And if we will add this we will get 1188... in which the center verse of the BIBLE is PSALM 118:8
What is the significant of Psalm 118:8 in God's perfect will for our lives?
It is better to trust in the LORD, than to put confidence in man.-- Psalm 118:8

When things get tough, always remember faith doesn't get you around trouble..
it gets you through it!
When you relinquish the desire to control your future you obtain happiness...

Prayer:
Father God, bless my friend in whatever it is that you know he/she may be needing this day....
May their life be full of your peace, prosperity and power as they seek to have closer relationship with you. Amen...

What a great testimony Ratan, I come into agreement with you for Victor to become a believer. He has called you therefore I believe God is working. I am an intercessor and gifted in evangelism so it is my cry for salvation of lost souls. Some of the greatest Christians today had Victors questions. God can answer them all and when He receives christ the light will come on and He will be mighty for God's kingdom. It was no axident that you met him. There is a wonderful pastor here on this net from India also His name is Yoal Charnock, I think I spelled his last name wrong but search Yoal in members and you will locate him.

FROM THE FULLNESS OF HIS GRACE WE HAVE ALL
RECEIVED ONE BLESSING AFTER ANOTHER.
( JOHN 1:16 *NIV )

Always remember to count our blessings each day, and to
thank God for them! For no matter what we have, when we
look around us, we find others who have less! So never feel
sorry for ourself, instead start counting our blessings, for that
should cheer u up indeed.

Now we know that when things disappoint us, we are sad and
often depressed. However it is written that we should: BE
JOYFUL ALWAYS; PRAY CONTINUALLY; GIVE THANKS IN
ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, FOR THIS IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU
IN JESUS CHRIST. ( 1 THESSALONIANS 5:16-18 )

Therefore, never feel that God doesn't hear our prayers
because a prayer isn't answered the way we want, or something
goes wrong in our life. For our Heavenly Father always knows
what is best for us, and: HE WILL NOT LEAVE YOU NOR
FORSAKE YOU. ( DEUTERONOMY 31:6 )

So my friend, remember to always: GIVE THANKS TO THE
LORD, CALL ON HIS NAME; MAKE KNOWN AMONG THE
NATIONS WHAT HE HAS DONE for you!
( 1 CHRONICLES 16:8 )

In closing, MAY THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS
CHRIST, AND THE LOVE OF GOD, AND THE
FELLOWSHIP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BE WITH YOU ALL,
now and always! Amen! ( 2 CORINTHIANS 13:14 )

God bless you and your ministery, our actual pastor was living in Inda not long ago and told us how difficult it is to evangelize there. May God open doors to you that were closed before, guide you with his everlasting light where shadow cannot hide and give you victory in your life.
Blessings brother

Value Life...........

Long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered.
Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much area as possible.
Came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, "Why did I push myself so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only need a very small area to bury myself."
The above story is similar with the journey of our Life. We push very hard everyday to make more money, to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health , time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love.
One day when we look back , we will realize that we don't really need that much , but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed.
Life is not about making money, acquiring power or recognition.

Life is definitely

not about work!
Work is only necessary to keep us living so as to enjoy the beauty and pleasures of life.. Life is a balance of Work and Play, Family and Personal time.
You have to decide how you want to balance your Life. Define your priorities, realize what you are able to compromise but always let some of your decisions be based on your instincts. Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of Life, the whole aim of human existence. So, take it easy, do what you want to do and appreciate nature. Life is fragile , Life is short. Do not take Life for granted. Live a balanced lifestyle and enjoy Life!

Watch your thoughts ; they become words.

Watch your words ; they become actions.

Watch your actions ; they become habits..

Watch your habits; they become character .

Watch your character; it becomes your destiny

So enjoy every day as yours.........

Such a wonderful service it sounds like that you g ave! love the healing part of it! Jesus main theme other then his salvation of course would be healing. He went around healing and said" Even greater things then this may you do" With the Holy spirit with us, healing sholuld be following us. We do not always get healed but sometimes through the pain we learn and grwo closer to God. But if it is right to be healed we will be and we do need to pray for heling for all. We should annoint them with oil and heal, But not all are given this gift.. Bless you that you are one that has been given this gift! May I ask for prayers? For pain, that I have chronically and for my sons blood clot to dissolve on its own. Thank you!!
God Bless you, Ratan

BEHOLD, I AM THE LORD, THE GOD OF ALL FLESH. IS
THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR ME?
( JEREMIAH 32:27 *NKJV )

When you are facing something that seems impossible
to you, have faith, for nothing is impossible with God on
your side!" After all is it not written: HE WHO IS IN YOU IS
GREATER THAN HE WHO IS IN THE WORLD.
( 1 JOHN 4:4 )

So don't give up when facing what may seem impossible
to you. For you do believe in miracles don't you? Well isn't
a miracle something that has happened that seemed
impossible at the time?"

Also remember that Jesus said: "HAVE FAITH IN GOD.
FOR ASSUREDLY, I SAY TO YOU, WHOEVER SAYS TO
THIS MOUNTAIN, BE REMOVED AND BE CAST INTO THE
SEA, AND DOES NOT DOUBT IN HIS HEART, BUT
BELIEVES THAT THOSE THINGS HE SAYS WILL COME
TO PASS, HE WILL HAVE WHATEVER HE SAYS.
THEREFORE I SAY TO YOU. WHATEVER THINGS YOU
ASK WHEN YOU PRAY, BELIEVE THAT YOU RECEIVE
THEM, AND YOU WILL HAVE THEM." ( MARK 11:21-24 )

Therefore the next time you find yourself thinking that
something can not be done; remember the first verse of this
message and, WATCH, STAND FAST IN THE FAITH, BE
BRAVE, BE STRONG. LET ALL THAT YOU DO BE DONE
WITH LOVE. ( 1 CORINTHIANS 16:13-14 ) For then if it is
God's Will for you, it can be done indeed!
