Hi Mandy,

I was on Bob's wall and read what you wrote. My dear friend it moved me to tears. I even told my mom the story again today and started crying. What you did yesterday (forgive me if it wasnt yesterday) is what I believe is exactly what the Good lord would have done. Your heart is being transformed into a true Christians heart. I am beginning to really understand that God is just wanting to bring us into a simpler place where we need to just reach out to those in need and be a friend. To do what you did and care when there is no one else to care and be servants in whatever we do. People need love-God is love, people need God and the only way we can show them how awesome he is, is by allowing him to work through us. This is why we must become selfless, abandon our wills and needs so that his glory will be revealed. Oh Praise God Mandy, your testimony is truly inspiring, keep going, persevere there is hope love and peace at the end of all trials. Love conquers all.

I humbly ask right now for our heavenly Father to continue to bless and use you to minister to all those you encounter each day. May he give your strength and peace along the way and may you turn to him for shelter whenever storms may come your way. In Jesus Name. amen.

Now to respond to your post,

I am so happy it is summer!! I am gardening alot and spending alot of time outside :-) I wish it was like this year round, but then I know I would miss the seasons. I truly love his creation (nature) and it makes me feel at peace. Well I must go for now, my daughter just came downstairs and I need to tend to her needs. She came home sick today with an awful stomach flu :-(

Have a good night!!

Yous Sister in Christ,

Sarah

What a wonderful image. Thanks for sharing it. I must say that the more I serve as a chaplain at the hospital the more my heart goes out to you who are in the nursing profession. God bless you and thank you for serving the needs of many.

I was out late tonight at my church where a bunch of us gathered to watch the revival, because our pastor is there today.
I read your story and just had to respond. You my friend are being revived and are expearencing renewal. You allowed the Lord to minister through you and it touched his heart deeply as it did mine. When you do it unto the least of these you do it unto me. Who knows? He could be an angel, the word says that many have intertained angels unawhere. But saying all that you are enjoying the blessing that comes from pouring out your life for others. The lord is looking for vessels to touch the world with.
Corrie Ten Boon prayed; Lord may I be the glove you put on and use. If you have never seen The Hiding Place, make sure you see it, it is a powerful book about a Christian family in Holland durring world war 2 who hid Jews and all ended up in a consentration camp. It is a wonderful movie very moving.
Well I thank God for giving you more hurting souls to touch with the love of Jesus. I also pray with you for Jay to recieve healing of his soul and of his body. God's mercy set you there to touch that man's life.
I think I told you God called me to be a truck driver. I have another friend who was called to be a mail man. We are both intercessors and God gave us both unbelievible oppertunities because of where we were place, just like you. May God give you many more oppertunities tto share our saviors love

DEAREST PRECIOUS MANDY
I READ YOUR NOTE WITH GREAT INTEREST... MARI (MY DAUGHTER) IS INVOLVED AT THE BABY HOME FOR ABANDONED BABIES AND MOST OF THEM DO, IN FACT, HAVE AIDS (HIV). THEY ARE THE MOST PRECIOUS LITTLE BABIES AND JESSICA JUST ADORES THEM. (JESSICA IS MY GRANDDAUGHTER). JESSICA WANTS TO BE A HOUSE MOTHER TO THESE BABIES WHEN SHE GROWS UP. HOW CAN PEOPLE IGNORE THE FACT THAT THE MAJORITY OF ABANDONED BABIES ARE HIV POSITIVE?

GOD BLESS THE SCANDANAVIAN PEOPLE WHO ADOPT THESE LITTLE ONES. I THINK I TOLD YOU THAT DUTCH (HOLLAND) SWEDISH, DANISH, GERMAN ETC, PEOPLE ADOPT A LOT OF OUR BABIES (SOUTH AFRICAN).

A CHILD IS A CHILD... SO VULNERABLE AND HELPLESS! THAT IS WHY I STILL WEEP FOR MY LITTLE XOLANI (GIFT).

YOU ARE SO PRECIOUS AND SO BRAVE. AND I JUST L O V E YOU!!!

TODAY I WAS SO SAD BECAUSE LAST WEEK ONE FAMILY IN OUR CHURCH (METHODIST) HAD A BAD ACCIDENT. NICO LOMBARD AND HIS TWO (ONLY DAUGHTERS) WERE COMING FROM HIS WORK (FATHER'S DAY) AND A LADY CAUSED A FATAL ACCIDENT. NICO WAS KILLED INSTANTLY AND NICOLETTE AND GRISELDIE WERE VERY SERIOUSLY INJURED. NICOLETTE IS IMPROVING SLIGHTLY BUT SHE DOES NOT KNOW THAT HER DADDY HAS GONE TO HEAVEN... GRISELDIE IS BRAIN-DEAD.. AND WE ARE PRAYING FOR THE LORD TO TAKE HER TODAY TO END INA (THE MOTHER'S) SUFFERING TO SEE HER LITTLE GIRL LIKE THAT. NICOLETTE STILL DOES NOT KNOW ABOUT HER DADDY AND HER YOUNGER SISTER. THE SPECIALIST THINKS IT IS NOT ADVISABLE AS SHE ALSO HAS SOME FORM OF BRAIN DAMAGE (PROBABLY NOT EXTREMELY SERIOUS).

OUR PASTOR SPENT HOURS AND HOURS WITH THEM AND HE WAS SO EXHAUSTED WHEN HE BROUGHT US HIS SERMON THIS MORNING. HE IS SUCH A DARLING AND WELL LOVED IN THE WHOLE COMMUNITY BY ALL... EVEN NON-MEMBERS OF OUR CHURCH.

THEN WE HAVE THE SADNESS OF THE "FOREIGNERS" WHO ARE BEING CHASTISED BY OUR AFRICAN PEOPLE. WE HAVE THEM PLACED IN A PLACE OF SAFETY BUT OUR CHURCH IS THE ONLY ORGANISATION IN THE WHOLE OF OUR COMMUNITY CARING FOR THESE PEOPLE. THEY HAVE NOTHING AND "NOWHERE"... THEY JUST DON'T BELONG (EXCEPT TO JESUS)!!! SO, SO, SAD! THEY ARE FROM ZIMBABWE AND DARE NOT RETURN TO THEIR HOMES AND WHEN ASKED WHY , ONE MAN REPLIED: WE HAVE NO HOMES. OUR HOMES HAVE BEEN BURNED DOWN... WE HAVE NOBODY AND WE HAVE NOTHING! I WEPT SO IN CHURCH. WE (OUR HOUSEHOLD - MY HUSBAND AND I) CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS THEIR KEEP BUT I SO WISH THERE WAS MORE THAT WE COULD DO! PLEASE JOIN US IN PRAYER FOR THESE POOR PEOPLE WHO ARE MORE DESTITUTE THAN DOGS... ROBERT MOGABE IS SUCH AN EVIL MAN. OUR OWN PRESIDENT IS HIS BROTHER-IN-LAW AND HE WILL NOT SPEAK OUT ABOUT MOGABE'S ILL-TREATMENT OF THE OPPOSITION. MOGABE SAYS THAT "GOD" PLACED HIM IN POWER AND ONLY "GOD" CAN TAKE HIM OUT!!!! ATROCIOUS. WHO IS HIS GOD???

I FEEL SO INHIBITED BECAUSE I CANNOT DO MORE FOR THESE POOR PEOPLE AND I EVEN FEEL THAT PRAYER IS NOT ENOUGH! WORDS WITHOUT DEEDS ARE FUTILE. THE LITTLE MONEY THAT WE GIVE CANNOT FEED THE WHOLE "CAMP". OUR PASTOR HAS SAID THAT FROM THREE MEELS PER DAY WE HAVE HAD TO CUT IT TO TWO MEALS PER DAY!!! HUNGER IS SO CRUEL.

ANYWAY, MY DEAR, GENTLE-HEARTED FRIEND, CONTINUE WITH YOUR WONDERFUL WORK. GOD WILL GIVE YOU GRACE AND I AM SURE HE WILL GIVE YOU ANSWERS. TALKING ABOUT AN ADVOCATE : OUR GOD ALMIGHTY IS THE BEST ADVOCATE, JUDGE AND KING... MAY HIS GRACE BE WITH YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES.

YOUR SINCERE FRIEND

This is awesome, some one said recently we have to step out of our confort zone to really begin to expearence the richness of christ in our lives. My friend from my church, Anita hear about this event you all were having. It is awesome that a lot more Christian music groups are becoming real ministry tools for the Lord.
I recieved a real blessing the other night. A young man 21 years old was with a group of us traveling to a meeting. During the meeting the Lord gave me a word of knowledge that this young man was called to be a pastor. I was hesitant to give it to him because I don't know him only seen him a few times over the years because his dad was a pastor of a methodist church in Rutland. I stepped out and told him, then I told him I was just confirming what God was already telling him. He burst into weaping and was just waiting for a confirmation. I was so blessed by the whole thing. I told him that I would be thier the first day he preached when he becomes a pastor.
Well I have to get myself ready for church.
Blessings

My dearest Mandy and family
Thinking of you this cold winter morning in "Sunny South Afrca" but I feel warm when I think of you... God bless you. Keep up the good work. We do not always see results but God is working in you and through you.

I am so very passionate about children and babies. They cannot fend for themselves. I also have a special charity MARANATHA . They used to collect money from my home but with the high cost of fuel I suggested that I do a deposit via internet. If each of us, who can, just give a wee bit of time or money AND LOVE we could change the world...But we can't.. BUT GOD CAN!

Let us take hands and keep praying. Let us carry someone's burdens and make the load lighter - every little drop helps. I comfort myself by saying this because I would love to give much more - reminds me of the Fidler on the Roof "If I were a rich man (woman)". Usually it is ordinary people like myself who make a difference. I think when one becomes too wealthy (not all but most) we tend not to think of the less privileged.

God bless you and give you strength and grace beyond imagination.

You are a tender child of Jesus... Stay as sweet as you are : I am convinced THAT GOD HAS CHOSEN YOU because you remind me of a Sunflower! Face up (smiling) at the sun BECAUSE JESUS LIVES! AMEN...

Fondest love to you all

I think you are on the right track. God will lead you as you keep stepping out like your doing. ActualMaureen is involve with a ministry that rescues children from the sex trade. Pastor Fred is involved with an orphanage in Africa also.
It was a great blessing for me last week to meet a family who started attending my church who actually adopted a girl from the sex trade in south America. What a blessing for us to know that this kind of ministry works. You would be blessed by the ministries God has raised up to help children. check out; www.missionfinder.org/orphanages

God has helped me to get my pc fixed and better than new, thank God. I did not realize how much God was pouring into my life from this net. I have found a lot of renewal and strength pouring into my body as I am learning to soak in the presence of the Lord. I know my strength comes from the Lord the maker of Heaven and Earth. Yes I still suffer from cronic pain, but as my focus is stayed on Him and not on the pain, I almost forget about it. I have been able to do more each day as I continue to draw close to Him. Praise God for his faithfullness!

Thank you so much for your kind letter and also I know that God has chosen you. Being a caring nurse is so wonderful. My granddaughter is a nursing sister and ever since I bought her a nurse's uniform at the age of three she decided she wanted to be a nurse. (My son was then a doctor (G.P.). I never dreamed that this little girl would never change her mind... And she is, like you, such a caring person - an ideal nurse. I believe that caring nurses are placed there by God Himself. How can you even doubt that you are CHOSEN... Actually you have been hand-picked by Jesus Himself! God bless you for your compassion and love and may you always experience His Grace and Love. I just love you AND JESUS LOVES YOU MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE!!!

Fond love

Challenges will come. The desire of our heart is to learn to respond in a way that honors Christ. That is a life long journey with us often stumbling. Remember that when we stumble and fall down, and we will, Jesus reaches out, picks us up, and dusts us off.

I serve as a volunteer chaplain at a community hospital, and my heart breaks when one is prayed for and they still pass away. Though I don;t fully comprehend it all, I have seen glorious things happen in the family through the death of a loved one (Ro. 8:28). The hardest thing for me is when one who rejects Jesus dies. No words can explain what I feel at that moment.

Rest in 2 Peter 5:6-7

BTW, it is OK to go on so. Sometimes it is good just to get it out.

Lord Bless,
LT
