How are you doing?? I have been thinking about you alot lately. I greeted you when you first came to fellowship with us and I was really blessed to meet you. Well, life happens and I just got soo overwhelmed with my life and my problems that I didnt give you or anyone else that I cared about any of my time at all. I am sorry. YOu have been on my heart and mind alot, and Im assuming it is because I care, and because God put you there! So, please,Id like to get to know you and help if I can. I always deal with depression day in and day out. I also have ADD and Bipolar. Now, Im not going to lie, I am not healed from it. God heals some things and leaves some things for us to lean on Him with. and believe me, I lean on Him every day!!!! I have had 4 suicides in my family,alcoholism,OCD,anxiety and depression as well. I had anorexia, got down to 86 pounds and almost died. I lost my teeth and my hair because of it and couldnt ever have children. Well, when I came to Christ, He pretty much restored all to me except for a couple things like the anxiety and bipolar. But I firmly believe that He heals some thing sand some he leaves. Don get too hard on yourself that you arent "well enough" or that others are telling you thet you are not well because "you dont have enough faith". You just kkep leaning on Him, honey, and he will love you and hold you day in and day out.
You are not alone in your pain, and you are not alone when you struggle. Im here and I would love to get to know you better. If I can help,let me know. I am always here for you!!! Take care,and God Bless!

Precious Heavenly Father God, only You know why things happen and only You know the pain and the hurt that my sister DeeDee is feeling.
I pray that You O Lord will comfort her and bring her peace & understanding as only You can bring. Lord, I pray that You will be her guidance, her strength as she is enduring so much pain after the loss of her brother. May all Your blessings fall upon her and may she not lose hope.

You would not even have the desire to look for Him if it wasn't for Him. the Holy Spirit draws us in. Continue to look to Christ...don't give up! Let me share my life verse with you.. It gives me chills and brings tears to my eyes....

Isaiah 40:29-31
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.

DeeDee.. this is a promise of God, that when we call on Him, He hears us, He is never too tired or too busy to help us. HE gives us HIS strength.. We will not stop having trials and problems...life is going to be a rough road ....especially as a Christian. But is is God's strength that carries us.. When we trust in God, and wait on Him.. we will soar, run and walk. We will not grow weary, and we will not faint.

I wish you lived closer.. I'd take you out for a cup of coffee...and a chat!

DeeDee, please dont feel like God is angry with you or that He has left you. He never leaves us, He is with you right now, even if you cant feel Him. Isaiah 43 says 'Do not be afraid for I am with you, I have called you by your name - you are mine'.........What an assurance!!! God has lead you here for a reason and you have brothers and Sisters in Christ here who love you.....

What is important to know is.....all that is past, is past. We have today and a future to live into. Create a relationship with the only one who can bring you to God, Jesus Christ. God will not forsake you. By learning to share yourself with Jesus Christ you will blossom like the beautiful flower that you are. You are Loved more than you can imagine right now. Hi Deedee, I've been deeply depressed so I know how it feels when, as you said, you feel like God is angry with you.
There was a time when I felt as though God was putting pressure on me. I saw a real good counselor and I told her this and she believed I was putting pressure on myself. I've come to find out that what I was doning, putting pressure on myself. God is about acceptance.
God absolutely loves you! I know this today but I sure didn't back then.
I've heard the following and I believe it could be true. If you were the only person on earth....Jesus still would have come to die for you, for your sin. That's how much He loves you.
There's one other thing my counselor suggested to me that might help you too. She suggested that I read a chapter every day in my Bible. This has been super good for me even during those times when I thought i was just reading the words and not getting anything from what I was reading. God's word is amazing!
I didn't know the Lord until I was 37 years old. I'm 71 now.
Keep looking to Jesus Deedee. He really is the author and the finsiher of our faith. love, Darlene
