THE PEOPLE FROM INDIA ARE ON OUR CHURCH'S PRAYER LIST... WE KNOW THAT THERE IS SERIOUS PROBLEMS. FEEL CONCERNED WHEN SOMEONE BECOMES SO "SILENT"... PERHAPS THEY CANNOT USE THE 'NET???
Yes...and our Individuality only Glorifies Him in all His Fullness...and even then, we're only barely scratching the surface in our understanding of how Magnificient God is! We are all ....individually made in His image...and HE brings us all together as the Body to reflect His Glorious Light! Mindboggling----and Awesome!

I hope you are okay! I understand that the post is alot of information. I have been a Christian for just over two years, and am learning so much as I go....We all are! God will see each of us through...He who has begun a good work in us will finish it.... It is a lifelong process isn't it!?!? Slowly being Sanctified...what a sweet painful song of life!
I just wanted to stop by to say hello and properly introduce myself. I am sorry if I came across as abrubt in the forum. That is sometimes my manner...and God is slowly sanctifying me..although my flesh often gets in the way. ... Please accept my apology for my abrubtness. I am passionate about God's Word, and I just want to do my part to ensure there is no division or confusion among the body... I am going to stay out of the forum conversation unless I feel specifically lead to contribute otherwise.....for now I feel God is telling me to just make things right with you...and keep my nose out of the discussion. :)

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said,
"Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like."
The Lord led the holy man to two doors.
He opened one o f the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of
the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a
large
pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth
water..
The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared
to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that
were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the
pot of stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than
their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.
The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering.
The Lord said, "You have seen Hell."
They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same
as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of
stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped
with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well
nourished and plump, laughing and talking. The holy man said, "I don't
understand."
It is simple," said the Lord. "It requires but one skill. You see they
have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of
themselves."
When Jesus died on the cross, he was thinking of you. Its estimated 93%
won't forward this. If you are one of the 7% who will, forward this

We all know that there are people who are "born dictators" and others are "attention seekers"...
When in a position of authority they do not consider anyone's feelings... Some Governments strive to please the people despite the millions who are hurt in the process... Others cause pain and suffering because of obstinacy and a self-centred attitude, and then you realise that this is because they do not know God.
Pontius Pilate wanted to please the people. So he freed Barabbas
for them. And Pilate told the soldiers to beat Jesus with
whips. Then Pilate gave Jesus to the soldiers to be killed on
a cross. Pilate knew that Jesus was innocent and yet he ignored this fact because he was trying to please the people!

Pilate knows Jesus is innocent, yet gives in totally to the wishes of
the mob -- he first has Jesus scourged ("flogged with a lead-tipped
whip") and then turns Jesus over to be crucified. Why does he do it?
Pilate has to keep Rome happy by maintaining order. To maintain order,
Pilate has to appease the crowd. Even though he has already pronounced
Jesus "not guilty" of any crime, Pilate has the final say. In his mind,
his word is law. In the eyes of the crowd, Pilate's word is law. Jesus,
however, knows that Pilate has no power to act, rule, or enforce his
verdict apart from God's granting him that power. Pilate is a puppet
who cannot recognize that he acts in concert with the crowd's will,
Rome's desire, and God's plan. Jesus is allowed to be crucified -- both
by Pilate, to appease the crowd which is being manipulated by the
religious leaders, and also by God, who is using this horrifying event
to save the world. If God can bring such a great redemption out of such
an unfair injustice, imagine what he can do with our suffering for his
sake.
Can any one of us imagine what it must take to sacrifice your child! I cannot!
TODAY'S PRAYER:
O God, you are the Almighty, the one in control even when I cannot see
Your control. Help me to understand that you will redeem every
injustice brought upon your people at your chosen time. Give me the
faith and strength to endure such times and the courage to live my life
in the hope that even if the scales of justice are not balanced in my
lifetime, they will be at the end of time. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Yes, my heart breaks for "broken" people. I have seen people change ... I will write something about it soon.
You are so right - God is the judge. But again last night my heart was touched by the insanity of the Gays protesting and demanding same sex marriages... What can we say? Lord, forgive them for they know not what they are doing? Actually I do not know what to say!
Bub be ever so blessed and know that I love you and Jesus much, much more. I have been ill with high blood pressure due to something blasphemous I read about Jesus and His mother Mary and I realised that South Africa is more horrendous than I imagined. A university teaching theology to future pastors and pastors who have already qualified.... Dear brother, what is this world coming to?

Thank you for your comment. I know and we all know that the world has become a wicked place but God has shown so much MERCY and GRACE.. AND if we do not pray and speak gently to the people who are growing in Christ we cannot gain labourers for His Kingdom.
I cannot change my nature - I was born sensitive and I feel sad about those who are "lost sheep"... So - NO JUDGMENT from my side - just prayers...

I think the people accept objections too readily and easily. People do rash and harsh things without thinking of the consequences.
I know that a Child of God must be "complacent" and tender and soft hearted but when it comes to serious matters Jesus also became angry ... as I pointed out when He chased the people out of the temple with a whip that he made... It made me think that they turned the TEMPLE into a type of FLEA MARKET???
God's grace and mercy is beyond human comprehension. I think if God thought like mere humans we would become extinct! I thank God for His grace and mercy every time I think of how much like Sodom and Gomorrah the world is becoming.
